Good morning sunrise.

The boys and James went out early to look for coyotes.  When they get back James fixes them steak, gravy and biscuits for breakfast, at Alex's request.  I fixed cinnamon rolls because I know that Michael does not like steak and gravy.

I guess Carter was the all-around almost unbeatable, ping pong champ.
The boys left after breakfast.  I sent two movie tickets down to Stacy because someone took one of the ones she got for her birthday.
No school today because of President's Day,
but Michael had to get back for track practice.

James and I did the dishes and cleaned the kitchen together.  We then sat down and watched a movie.  Yes, it was one of those lazy kind of days.  I think the Actemera infusion I had on Friday compromised my immune system and I am getting sick again.  I have a cough and no energy.

After our movie James went upstairs to work and I did a couple of blog posts.  That's about all I accomplished today.

For FHE we set some goals together.

Judge Scalia, one of the only conservatives on the Supreme Court, died this weekend while attending a function at someone's ranch in Texas.  It is yet to be determined if foul play was involved.
More deer in our yard today.

I love a tiny house with a porch.

I sleep in and then take a shower and wash my hair while James fixes me breakfast.  I think I used this picture before but I am using it again because it is the same breakfast, my favorite!
Yummy!
I did the dishes and the rest of my morning chores, and then I get ready to go to town.  Alex, Michael, and their friend Carter, are coming up today and should be here around 1 p.m.  They will probably bring some food, but I wanted to invite them to eat dinner with us, the reason for the trip to town.
The boys arrived while I was gone to town.  Before going shopping I stopped by Harold and Vickie's.  Harold made me a bench for Christmas and I am finally going to pick it up.  Stacy borrowed my piano bench, and I am going to use Harold's bench for our piano.
It was a beautiful day and I sat outside and visited with Dennis, Harold, and Vickie.  Denise was gone to town.  Dennis and Denise are having a birthday party for Kyle's youngest, Maysn who turns four.  Dennis invited us, which I appreciated so much.
I love the bench from Harold!  Here is how it looks in front of our piano.
This picture makes me smile!
James grilled burgers for everyone tonight.  They were delicious.  Carter mentioned that they were cooked perfectly.  He seems like a very nice young man.
After dinner, the guys did the dishes

I watched a new Valentine's Hallmark movie in our room.  It was one starring Autumn Reeser and her visit to a ranch in Wyoming.  She is one of my favorite Hallmark actresses.
James put on his camo outfit and went coyote hunting.  He didn't come back with anything.  I don't know whether to be sad or glad.  I have to admit that I am a little bit glad.

Happy Birthday Harold!
This is my brother Harold. He is a year and a half younger than I am and turned 66 today.  Harold is a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.  He is always there if you need him.
I love you Harold!  He also makes some awesome wood furniture!

James has had several job prospects come up in the last couple of days for work.  One is a building for Brian Lemmerman and another is a building for Marvel Masonry  He went from having no work to several good prospects and we are very grateful.

In honor of Harold's birthday James and I had chocolate cake for dinner.  I messaged Harold on Facebook and wished him a Happy Birthday and told him we would go to lunch as soon as I got over my cough and cold.

James went coyote hunting.  He has some new "toys" he wants to try out.  He bought them at Bass Pro Shop. Our friend, Ed Miller, says he can get anywhere from $40 to $70 for coyote hides.  Also James has declared war against the coyotes since he found a dead deer carcass and two baby elk carcasses. He had no luck tonight. Those coyotes are pretty smart.

I vegged out on the couch most of the day.  I had a Mystery Book Woman marathon.  I watched "Redemption", "At First Sight", "Wild West Mystery", and "In the Shadows."

I was supposed to have an appointment at the Arizona Arithritis and Rheumatology Center in Mesa on Monday morning for an infusion.  They don't want you to come in if you are sick, so I called and got an appointment set up for next Friday at 1:45.

James and Alex got up early to go coyote hunting.  They were back by breakfast time.  I made good on my promise to the boys and made them some of my homemade french toast along with sausage, and turkey bacon.

When I took my shower this morning I had mildly warm water and Sheri said she didn't have any hot water either.  Before James left for the valley he checked the downstairs hot water heater and found the pilot to be off, so he lit it.  He told me to keep at eye on it and make sure the leak didn't get any worse.  There was some standing water in the bowl at the bottom of the water heater.

I called Stacy and asked if she wanted Joshua to come home with James and she said no, she was coming up.  Alex did come home with him though.

Ben had been taking the boys on Razr rides since they got here, but he may not be doing it anymore.  When they got back this morning Sheri and I asked Evan if he had fun.  This was his reply:  "Not that much.  Ben tipped the Razr over and we couldn't get it back up until some guy with a mustache and gray hair (Chuck Crane)  helped us. Ben was so upset he was outside and wouldn't come in until Sheri went out to talk to him.  Evan said he was trying to dodge a rock when it flipped.  Luckily none of the boys were hurt.

Sheri did my new Princess puzzle that Kim got me two times.
She is good.
It rained alot today.  We should have gone up to check Buckelew Springs.  Ian cooked steaks for dinner.  We also had broccoli which is Joshua's favorite vegetable.

Ian and Sheri went on a short Razr ride this evening and saw lots of elk down on the corner.

This evening we all watched Master Chef together.  I was surprised these three were so interested.  I guess it's one of Evan's favorite shows.
 Lots of legs and feet.
Here they are again.

Darrel is taking his pharmacy licensing exam tomorrow so he asked James to give him a blessing.

After the blessing he took Addy on a date to Golden Corral.
Addy's menu tonight consisted of pizza, mac and cheese, and several servings of her favorite food, jello.
James sent me this picture taken in Mesa.

James and Alex went coyote hunting this morning.  Afterwards James came home and made venison steak and gravy with biscuits.  Brian got some venison from Dave.  Thanks Dave for contributing to our delicious breakfast.
James and his helpers, Chelsea and Brian.
I made a trip to town this morning to get some gum for my handout for Young Women's tomorrow.  I ended up going to Safeway, Circle K and Walmart.  I needed wax for the floor and they didn't have what I needed at Safeway so I went to Walmart.  I did buy some steaks for our BBQ tonight at Safeway because they have better steaks than Walmart.  I found the gum I needed at Circle K.

I talked to Vickie on the phone today.  She told me all about Show Low's loss to Seton Catholic (a Chandler School) last week.  They got beat 42-14.  She said the coach changed all the plays at the last minute and Harold was furious.  She said she almost got into a fight with one of the fans for Show Low who was bad-mouthing Colby.  It was a sad way to end such a great season for Show Low.  Seton ended up beating Blue Ridge in the championship game.

In other football news today Hamilton High won the state championship game and so did Queen Creek.

We grilled steaks this evening with Kim, Brian, Chelsea, and Cody.  Before dinner James took the Pace kids, Carter 8, and Cash 6, up to the swing and the pit.  Alex went too.  The boys were so excited to get to go on the Ranger.

James and Alex got up very early this morning to go fishing at Silver Creek.  James says it was 29 degrees when they got there.  Alex had a very successful day fishing.  James said he caught 13 fish, more than everyone else there put together.  Here is the biggest one.
The biggest rainbow trout ever!
The kid is a fishing genius
Notice the unsuccessful fishermen in the background.
I made that lucky hat.
Smiling fish.
Cody, Chelsea, Carter, and Cash Pace came up today.  They are best friends with Brian and Kim.
Brian made us all delicious burgers for dinner.  Burgers with cheese and poblano chilies.

James, Joe, and Alex went out looking for coyotes this evening.  They were not very successful.
The boys are in the truck waiting for Grandpa who forgot his keys.
Brian and Cody watched the ASU, UofA game, which ASU ended up winning.
Kim and I played a game of 5 Crowns with Chelsea and then while she spent time with her boys we went in and watched a Christmas movie.  I also worked on my lesson for Sunday.
