My hope is to give encouragement when life seems especially difficult and uncertain. For some of you, that time is now. If not, such a time will come. That is not a gloomy view. It is realistic - yet optimistic - because of God's purpose in the Creation of this world. That purpose was to give His children the opportunity to prove themselves able and willing to choose the right when it is hard. In so doing, their natures would be changed and they could become more like Him. He knew that would require unshakable faith in Him.
P1 S2
God the Father has given us the divine birth, the incomparable life, and the infinite atoning sacrifice of His Beloved Son, Jesus Christ.
I continued watching Christmas movies today. James and I went to town today to get some Christmas tree lights and a light tester. We stopped at the post office and picked up several packages. My diet supplies came and several blankets that I ordered. I am disappointed in some of these blankets and will be sending a few back.
I shopped at Walmart and James shopped at Home Depot. He could not find any lights or light tester. I didn't even look in Walmart because I knew he was getting them at Home Depot. There are not going to be enough lights for the tree but I think I will wait until after Thanksgiving to worry about it.
I found a page from my last year notebook dated 11-17-19 which was on a Sunday. Jared, Kacey, and Charlie were here along with Brian and Kim. Kim had made her pumpkin delight dessert and had cut a piece and put some Coolwhip on it. Charlie, who was just a little over a year old, said: "I want some."
James cleaned out the little freezer outside and loaded it in the back of his truck while I cleaned upstairs.
James wanted to go to bed early because he is leaving for the valley early in the morning.
Sheri watched Charlie, Molly, Ruby and Lola today so Jared and Kacey could get some things done. They went shopping, had lunch at Cafe Rio, watched the Grinch, and had treats at Sonic. How fun!
