I forgot a major thing that happened yesterday. Sheri went running yesterday morning and asked Ben to call around 8 a.m., which he did. It was a Skype call so we got to see him and talk to him. He is so happy that he wasn't called as the A.P. He is staying in Ammon but his companion is being transferred. Sheri spoke to his companion and asked him how he felt about not being Elder Trezise's companion anymore. He said that he "cussed up a storm" when he heard.

Sheri talked to "Elder Trezise", he doesn't want us to call him Ben, probably for almost an hour. It was great to see him and hear him talk about his mission and the people he is teaching. Here is his letter and Sheri's letter to him:

James, Ian, Alex, and Max went fishing at Silver Creek this morning.

Here are the results:

Ian was the only one who didn't catch fish. I guess he's a little out of practice.

Back at home Sheri, Evan, Joshua, and I decided we wanted to go somewhere. Evan suggested Greer and I suggested Woodland Lake. We ended up going to Woodland Lake. I made waffles for Evan and Joshua and they sat down to watch Sponge Bob and Evan ended up taking a nap before we left for our adventure.

When we got to the lake I had hoped we would be able to walk completely around on the path. Last time we came I was with James, Max, Evan, Rowan, and Joshua and James wanted to leave after I just got started.

This time the same thing happened. We had just started walking when Sheri began receiving texts from Ian, Alex, and Max wanting to know what was for lunch and was she going to bring them something to eat. Immediately Sheri wanted to leave. I guess I will have to come another time to make it around the lake.

Evan relaxing at the lake.

On the way home we stopped at: Burger King, Subway, and McDonald's to get lunch for the Trezise guys and Joshua. James was home frying tilapia and sharing it with whoever wanted some.

When we got home Sheri started on her third puzzle. I went into the bedroom to rest and watch part of a movie. When it came time to cook dinner we had steak, veggies, and rolls. Afterwards James made a fire in the firepit and those who wanted to made smores. Max sang and played the guitar for our entertainment.

Outside in the cold, barefoot, and no shirt.

 Love this sweet girl

I told Sheri that Ollie needs a kitty, ha!

Sheri did three puzzles, here she just took one down.
These were big puzzles!

The boys did a Mario puzzle together

Sheri made pumpkin muffins and turkey bacon for breakfast. She also cooked eggs for anyone who wanted them. She put pecans in some of the muffins for dad and I. Thanks Sheri!

I sold a couple of books today. My total sales for the year: $9,755.10.

Sheri, Max, Evan, Joshua and I went into town this morning. The purpose of the trip was to get a fishing license for Max at Walmart per Alex's request. Alex is coming up tonight and wants Max to go fishing with him in the morning.

I found a new recipe for chicken tacos and wanted to make them this evening so I bought the ingredients for tacos. On the way home we stopped at KFC to take home chicken for everyone. I told James he didn't need to eat KFC because I was going to make him some chicken tacos. He still had to have one piece.

Sheri and I watched two Hallmark movies, a Ruby Herring mystery and one that was filmed in Ireland. Ian was saying that all Hallmark movies were basically the same. I said, well, aren't all football games basically the same? While he and Max watched Monday Night Football in the family room Sheri and I went in the bedroom and watched tonight's episode of "Dancing with the Stars." Lamar Odom finally went home.

Sheri fixed hotdogs and hamburgers for dinner and I made chicken tacos. James had four tacos and a hotdog. How does he do it and stay so thin. It's not fair.

You just can't keep a good man down.

The logs look so much better!

Sheri made a nice breakfast. I had some of the turkey bacon. The boys watched the first session of conference this morning. During the last session they went in my bedroom and watched the Cardinals football game.

For lunch Sheri made her delicious homemade macaroni and cheese. Even James liked it. I put some rolls out to rise and for dinner we had rolls, roast beef, mashed potatoes, and peas. Thanks for feeding us so well, Sheri.

For most of the afternoon Max and Ian watched football in the family room. Ian was very annoyed with the refs during the Cowboys game.

Sheri and I went in the bedroom and watched "Matchmaker Mystery" on the Hallmark movies and mysteries channel. I would not normally watch this on Sunday. I guess I don't get to see Sheri very often and I used that as the reason. One of the new questions on the temple recommend interview is about keeping the Sabbath day holy. I must do better.
