We had two elk feasting in our field this morning. I guess they left the kids at home.

I listened to Dave and Emily today talk about the Restoration and what it means to restore. It was really good and makes me excited for General Conference this weekend.

James had to go in to town this morning to get the Cat tire fixed. He always asks me to go with him. This time I said yes, and I'm glad I did. We dropped the tire off at Center Tire and then went to the UPS store and dropped off a book I am returning to Glennthebookseller. As I was cleaning the book, getting it ready to ship, I pulled a piece of tape off of the front and low and behold, right there in bold letters it said: Instructors edition, Do No Sell. Of course Glenn apologized and said to please return it for a full refund, which I am doing.

I've had sales every day this week but only because I repriced my older books to the lowest price. I'm not really making any money but at least it looks like I'm a book seller.

After dropping off my return book James asked me if there was anywhere I wanted to go. We had about an hour to kill before our tire was fixed. At first I said Aliberto's and then I remembered he doesn't like Aliberto's very well. I also told James that I did not want to use the personal credit card until we could pay more of it down. I had about $13 in my wallet. We went to Culver's for a turtle sundae. It was good but not as good as my strawberry one yesterday. We also went to Taco Bell and each of us got a taco and a bean burrito with money to spare.

James stopped at the Tractor Supply store and got two wooden poles for the corral. By the time we got back to Center Tire we only had to wait a few minutes for them to air up the tire. There was no charge for fixing it.

On the way home we read from "Aunt Dimity Down Under." James is really beginning to like these books. We only have one more chapter and the epilogue before this book is finished.

My first "Done For You" list arrived today online from Book Profits. I only paid $1 for a month's worth of lists. This one seemed almost like an April Fools joke. High prices and high rankings were not what I was looking for.

It took me until about 5:30 p.m. but I finally got caught up on my blog. Hurray!

Brother Peeler came by to pay us for the 10 lbs. of flour we bought for he and Donna. We told them he didn't have to pay for it but he insisted.

James and I watched an episode of "When Calls the Heart" this evening. Jesse and Clara finally got married! I think I posted pictures yesterday. It was this last Sunday's episode.

This pantry is probably light, airy, and clean

This is my pantry,
dark, overburdened and crowded

I took this picture on the way back from
holding a tape for James while he is
constructing a corral for our horsey.

I shined my floor, can you tell?

Holly on her throne

"Fifty years from now, it won't matter what kind of car I drove, or what kind of house I lived in... .  Fifty years from now, my life will have meaning only if I've taken the time to be a positive influence in the life of a child."
-Janene Wolsey Baadsgaard

I semi-cleaned the pantry today.  There was lots of gum stuck to the floor.  I washed the walls, but they need to be painted.  James says it looks 1,000x better.
Nothing fancy
Notice front and center Holly's
Beggin Strips.

James cut off the shower controls with a hacksaw so now he has to fix it.  He went for parts and came back and sprayed water all over himself and caused a flood.  Now the water is shut off and he's out buying more parts.
Gettin' down and dirty
Looks gross, but it cleaned up pretty well.

I'm glad Michael has a track meet today because he usually comes home from track practice and heads straight for the shower.

Go Michael!

I picked up Ben, Evan and Joshua from school today.  Sheri is in Prescott at science camp with Max.  Here is how they felt about going:

Right now it's 4:30 in the afternoon.  I am supervising Joshua doing his homework while Stacy takes Dorothy to her doctors appointment.  Dallin is playing his guitar and singing.  I have a BBQ chicken in the crockpot and rolls in the oven.  It's 70 degrees outside and a good day except for the plumbing problems.  Oh yes, James's phone got wet and now it doesn't work.  I told him I would get him some rice tomorrow when I go to the store.

Stacy had a Dorothy story to tell when she got home.  After the doctors appointment Dorothy had Stacy take her to Krispy Kreme where she bought four cream filled donuts, and then she asked to go to Sweetie's where she bought an assortment of candy.  One more stop at the grocery store for Cheetos, ice cream, and three huge Mr. Goodbars.  This is a woman in her late sixties who lives by herself.  She only weighs about 90 lbs., and wears dentures. I'm not sure I understand why she only weighs 90 lbs.

Located on Chandler Blvd right across the street from the drive-thru Krispy Kreme.

Look what's coming to the San Diego County Fair:
This is just weird and wrong.
I hope Dorothy doesn't hear about it.
