"Closing Remarks"
President Russell M. Nelson
"Now in closing, I leave with you my love and my blessing that each of you may become happier and holier with each passing day. Meanwhile, please be assured that revelation continues in the Church and will continue under the Lord's direction until 'the purposes of God shall be accomplished, and the Great Jehovah shall say the work is done.' I so bless you, reaffirming my love for you, with my testimony that God lives! Jesus is the Christ! This is His Church and we are His people. In the sacred name of Jesus Christ, amen."

I woke up late and as a result we were late getting to the 6 a.m. Walmart opening and missed getting toilet paper. I got everything else I needed and James got the things he needed for the corral too. Not at Walmart though.

The Vernon post office was robbed last night. They even took the garbage can which means they are looking for names and addresses. I am wondering why there isn't a camera installed. This is the second time this has happened. Sometimes I feel like I live in the Old West.

Anthony came to pick up the old Ranger today. James loaded it for him by picking it up with his Cat.

Anthony was so impressed, that's why
he took this photo.

It was 68 degrees today. A beautiful day for James to work outside. It did get cloudy this afternoon but there was very little wind.
The corral is coming along nicely. Dottie will be here this weekend.

Kathy and Chuck are in Flagstaff where Kathy is having a procedure done. Hopefully they will be able to find out what is wrong with her.

Today is the 21st anniversary of my mother's death. The day she died the winds were blowing 90 m.p.h. She had been at the doctor's in Snowflake and was on her way home when her Geometro car was blown in front of a semi truck. She died instantly and made the front page of the local newspaper. It was a horrible day for our family. We drove up from the valley in the evening, going through Payson. We passed so many semi-trucks. We weren't sure why until we got to Show Low and found out they had closed highway 40 between Flagstaff and Holbrook because of the wind.

Here is the post I put on Facebook.

We bought a 10 lb. bag of flour for the Peeler's this morning. James went to their house to deliver it. No one was home except for the dog so he left it on the counter. The Peeler's were at the Goodman's watching a movie.

I love Christina's posts!
