So true.

About 2:30 this morning I couldn't sleep in my bed because of a heaviness in my chest so I went in to sleep on the recliner for another hour or so.  I was up for good at 4 am.  The first thing I did was put a roast and some veggies in the crockpot for our lunch.  Next, a shower and then prayers and scripture study.  Today I studies Alma 4:5-20:
6 - Church members become prideful.
9 - Great contentions in the Church.
10 - At the end of the 8th year the Church begins to fail in its progress.
13-14 - Some retained a remission of their sins.
15-18 - Alma steps down as chief judge.
19 - Alma becomes a full time missionary.
20 - In the 9th year Nephihah becomes chief judge.

5:30 am. - typed James's quotes for him to hand out to people during his lesson.
6-7:45 - Studied my lesson, packed, and folded some laundry.
7:45 - got ready to go.
8:20 - left for church.  When I got to my room someone had taken some of my things and put magnets all over the chalkboard.  James is right, I need to take my things home every week. Darn!

One of my favorite young women, Shelly Applegate was the youth speaker in church today.  She graduates on Thursday and will be moving on to college.  Kids grow up too fast these days.

Brother Jim was our high councilman speaker and his partner was Brother Thompson from Cibecue.

Paula Johnson's granddaughter, Briley, was here visiting from Snowflake today and attended my class.  She wouldn't eat any candy because she is diabetic.  She was using a pump just like Adam.
Also, Talena's brother Jarom was in my class for the first time.  I don't think he is on my roll, but I enjoyed having him.

After church James, Adam, and I went home and enjoyed having our dinner.  James called it a stew and that was fine with me.  It was pretty delicious.  James cleaned the kitchen and we left for the valley around 1:30.  We took Adam to his apartment on Southern and Dobson and then we headed for Sheri's for dinner.  Sheri had prepared ham, rolls, scalloped potatoes, and asparagus.  It was all delicious.  After eating we went to Cathi and Terry's and unloaded all of our things and got ready for seminary graduation.  It seems funny to be staying at Cathi and Terry's while they are at Disneyland.  Kilee is taking care of the dogs and other pets.  We went to bed before she got here, so we didn't get to talk to her.

We were at the stake center by 6:30, early enough to help Sheri save seats for Kim, Brian, and Stacy, Paul, Joshua, and Michael.
Ian's parents came too and sat next to Sheri and Ian.

Alex did an amazing job speaking.  He is a natural.  I was very proud of him.
Taller than his mom and almost as
tall as his dad.
