"Living the gospel is like a muscle, you've got to exercise it if you want to keep its' strength. We need to keep doing the little things, prayer, scripture study and church attendance or we run the risk of forgetting. The gospel is all about repetition so that it will truly be engrained in our hearts and minds.
Forgetfulness leads to wickedness.
James had to go to the airport and sawcut the concrete that was poured yesterday on the Hatch Hangers job. As a result we missed Max's football games which were played in Phoenix. I guess there were three 20 minute games and Max's team lost all three, so his season is over.
I went shopping at Target and bought Emmy what I thought was a skateboard but it was actually a long board for her birthday. I also bought about 16 Reese's candy bars for my lesson tomorrow. On the way home I got gas and ewashed my car.
For our anniversary date James and I went to Deseret Book and then to Firebirds for lunch. These are the things I got at Deseret Book: Books - one about light by Sister Uchtdorf, "Marriage Isn't For You", "The Lincoln Hypothesis" and journals - one for Trenda, and one for me to keep track of my temple attendance.
Our lunch was delicious. We had sourdough bread and then I had coconut shrimp with coleslaw and mango salsa and James had crab cakes with coleslaw and mango salsa. I had a chocolate sundae for dessert. This is one of my favorite meals! James loved his too.
We went home and took a nap before leaving for Vernon. We said our fast prayer and then we left for our real home. James went the Globe way and of course I took the other route through Payson.
James cut and colored my hair. I spent some time working on my lesson about the blessings of the priesthood before going to bed.
