This picture is from two years ago.
When it came up on my Facebook feed under memories,
I had to post it.  I love these people so much!

Alma 36: 25-37:10
25 - The Lord doth give me exceedingly great joy in the fruit of my labors. . . .
26 - Because of the word imparted unto me many have been born of God.
27 - I have been supported in trials and troubles of every kind.  God has delivered me from prison, from bonds and from death.  (This is Alma speaking.)  I trust in Him and He will deliver me still.
28 - He will raise me up at the last day, to dwell with Him in glory.  I will praise Him forever, . . .
30 - . . . inasmuch as ye shall keep the commandments of God ye shall prosper in the land.  If ye will not keep the commandments ye shall be cut off from His presence.
Alma 37
1 - Alma speaking to his son Helaman:
Take the records which have been entrusted with me.
2 - Also, keep a record of this people.
3 - Also hand down the plates of brass to the next generation, that they may go to every nation, kindred, tongue and people.
6 - . . . by small and simple things are great things brought to pass.
(One of my favorites).
7 - . . . by very small means the Lord doth confound the wise and bringeth about the salvation of many souls.
8 - The brass plates have enlarged the memory of this people and convinced many of the errors of their ways and brought them to the knowledge of their God unto the salvation of their souls.
9 - These records brought the Lamanites unto repentance, to rejoice in Jesus Christ, their Redeemer.
10 - Perhaps they will be the means of bringing many thousands more to the knowledge of their Redeemer.

I had lunch at Panda today.  Half steamed rice, half veggies, and shrimp with veggies.  Delicious!  I also went to Staples and bought some filing supplies to take to Charlotte's.  I helped her from 12-2 and then went home to take a nap.  I think once we get all her paperwork which is sitting out everywhere filed away we can start working on the rest of the house.  It is going to take awhile but will be worth it if she can keep it organized.

Adam helped James today at Lindsay Smith's.
Bandana because he was sweating so much.

Cathi's housekeepers came today so both dogs stuck with me.

I went with James to take Adam home after work.  On the way home we stopped at Bahama Bucks and I had a strawberry colada bahama rahma. (With ice cream.)  James liked it so well he ate it while I read to him from "Washington's Hypothesis."

On the way back to Chandler we stopped at Charlotte's.  She has three credit cards that her son ran up charges on and refuses to pay and she is trying to pay for them on her retirement.  Every month she goes further into the hole.  James took down all her information and is going to call the credit card companies and see if he can get her reduced rates.  We had a group hug before we left and I think Charlotte feels like she has friends and that we really care about her, which we do.

We went back to Cathi's and packed up to go home.  We got gas at Sam's Club and stopped at the Subway nearby and got some dinner.  I had a veggie sub on whole wheat and really liked it.  No chips or drink.

We went the Payson way.  I read to James and slept.  We were home around 11:30 and in bed by midnight.  Home sweet Home!

Happy 11th Birthday Emmy!
We sure enjoyed having her at the cabin.
She took such good care of Lola.
Doesn't Molly look cute.
James went to the yard this morning to get ready for his job next week.  He had to repair a broken hydraulic line on the Cat and then he went back over to Brian and Kim's to help with the last couple of doors.
I got up early and studied and then went to Cobblestone to get Lexy cleaned, inside and out.  While I was there I bought a couple of turkey flatbread sandwiches at the Dunkin' Donut shop and visited with a couple of older women who wished me a good day.  I wished them a good day and they said it would be a good one because they were doing a little retail therapy.

James and I picked up Kim a little before noon and we headed for the Mesa temple.  We were early and sat in front of the chapel where you wait for your session.  The session was filling up quickly.  I looked over and saw James's sister Rebecca some in.  What a treat to have her and Brent in our session!
The session was very full with two others besides Jeffrey going through for the first time.  James sat by Jeffrey's bishop and we spoke to him after the session.  He is very impressed with Jeffrey and the progress he has made.  We gave Jeffrey a hug in the celestial room but didn't have much time to talk.  Later I spoke with him and he said how happy he was and that he was grateful that we were there.  He also said he would be going back again next week with his ward.  I am so very proud of him!
On the way home from the temple we stopped at Bahama Bucks for some cooling refreshment on this 117 degree day.  Kim and I got the strawberry daiquiri with ice cream which was absolutely amazing and luscious!  James got key lime with a little cream.  It was tasty too.
We took Kim home and then we went home to change our clothes and go to Pei Wei for dinner.  They have made improvements to their spicy chicken salad.  It was amazing, and so were the lettuce wraps that we shared!
  My favorite salad ever!
 Delicious!
Looks like someone is getting a ticket for
eating at Keegan's Grill instead of Pei Wei.

After dinner we went home and started our fast.  We are fasting for missionary work and that Alex and Michael will want to serve missions.
James still had to fill he truck with gas and take it over to the yard.  I picked him up and then he went to get a few groceries at Walmart.  I am grateful, because I was too tired.

Here is how the Gonzales family spent the day, saying goodbye to Holly.  Holly has been a part of their family for 14 years now and she will be missed.

Joshua looks so sad.
Definitely a member of the family.
An Era has ended, the Holly Era.
