"Deny not the power of God," the prophet Moroni declared, "for he worketh by power, according to the faith of the children of men." It is our faith that unlocks the power of God in our lives.
Articles of Faith
#13
We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; indeed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul - We believe all things, we hope all things, we have endure many things, and hope to be able to endure all things. If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things.

My Home
James left for the valley to help with a pour at Lake Park Village at 5:50 am. Before he left he fed the horse, watered the back lawn, made the bed, made and brought me breakfast, and had scriptures and prayer with me. He is my guardian angel.
Lots of gospel study this morning. I listened to "Follow Him", read from the DC seminary manual and Religion class manual from BYU.
I also listened to Rio and Emily on Inklings Institute where Rio talked about Elder Stevenson's talk, "Hearts Knit Together" and Emily talked about places of refuge. She says she wants her home to be a place of refuge and then told about a book club that meets in her home once a month. They are studying the book, "The Jesus I Never Knew." She said many in this group are gay. She welcomes everyone into her home. She wants everyone to feel safe and loved.
I also listened to Mike and Brice on "Talking Scripture." I like this:
We need to sanctify ourselves so we can receive revelation. Get to that place where Revelation comes. The Lord is inviting us to open the doors of Revelation. Revelation is rooted in reality. They referred to Elder David B. Haight's talk in the Oct 1989 G.C.
I also listened to part of Unshaken by Brother Jared Halverson while I was walking.
James got home in time to watch the Suns lose to the Clippers 106-92. The Suns were "off their game tonight." Hopefully the will be back on for the next game.
James wanted to stop at Burger House but they were closed so he stopped at Aliberto's in Show Low and got me a bean burro and a mixed burro. The bean burro was delicious! I ate a little over half. He ate the mixed burro. It was good too because I had a bite. James also fried some scalloped potatoes and had them for dinner.
I listened to Dr. Kim D'Earmo. "How To Consult Your Higher Self in Everything." I also went on her website. There are lots of classes I could sign up for but they cost money. $297 for 6-12 week courses. I can't do that right now. I need to do more research into the mind/body connection.
I indexed 200 names this evening and walked 12,000 steps. My monthly indexing total is 5,230. My goal is 6,000.
