There is a solar eclipse today that will go across the eastern part of the United States. We didn't see it here and the sky was also overcast.

We did some shopping at Walmart today and then bought dinner at Panda Express. 

I organized the can goods from our pantry and put them back on the shelves.  I still have lots to do but it is going to look so much better. 

James got the drawing tools he ordered to work on the Applegate's house plans. He is doing a great job but it is a slow process. 

Stacy called today to talk. Paul is Armando's ministering brother. When Armando's son was sick with mono Armando called Paul to give him a blessing. When Paul got to their home he asked Armando if he, Armando, wanted to give the blessing. Armando said he didn't know what to say. Paul said he would help him. 

Armando gave a short and sweet blessing. Paul said the kids had tears in their eyes and the Spirit was very strong. It was a spiritual experience for the entire family.

Paul and Stacy have received help from their bishop. He told them they needed to ask family for help. Stacy said she was calling to be obedient to her bishop. I guess Paul's mother is helping them fix their car. I told Stacy I would talk to her dad and get back to her.

Such a wonderful conference! I waited all of conference for someone to talk about the Kirtland temple and finally President Nelson did. I loved his talk and the fact that he announced 15 new temples to be built, one in Yuma, Arizona and Edinburgh, Scotland!

Jared and Kacey have a tradition on the morning of Sunday General Conference. They invite the missionaries over and friends for breakfast.

I think it's great that Charlie has a dress

on to watch conference.
