Today was my most miserable day since getting Covid. I am pretty miserable. Thank goodness James felt a little better today. He asked the bishop for permission to do the sacrament here at home. He took a shower and got dressed in his Sunday best before preparing the sacrament. I am very grateful for him.

After the sacrament James made us egg salad sandwiches for lunch.

He really is my hero.

We had several people "check in" on us today. Collin, Barbara, Kathy, Jared, Stacy, Trina, and Sheri. 

Today is Molly's 12th birthday and Darrel and Trina's 18th anniversary. 

Yesterday was Pierce's birthday. I wished him a happy birthday and also wished Kathy, his cousin, a happy birthday. Kathy's birthday is on the sixth and Pierce's is on the 7th. He was born four years after Kathy. We have been friends with Kathy for years but with Pierce only a couple of years. Both of them are two of my very favorite people.

Sister Brown taught Relief Society today and I heard several comments about how well she did. I asked Tamara if we could please see if the bishop would approve calling her for the permanent teacher. Hopefully this will happen before next month. 

The only thing that really tastes good today is the ice cream bars that Barbara brought me. James says they aren't good for me but I beg to differ. 

I'm pretty sure I'm learning about long-suffering this week. 

Stacy made it known to the family about Michael's car being damaged by the towing company who towed it when it was broke down. Hopefully he can get some help and they will feel compelled to fix the damage they did.

I slept about half the day today. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

I got up at 3:45 and felt cold and achy. I ate and then took some Ivermectin, 2 Tramadol, and an aspirin and then went back to sleep until 5:20. I felt so much better so I got up. I read my scriptures and finished Tuesday's blogpost. Feeling tired again so I went back to bed. James comes in and asks me if I am hungry. I told him yes so he brings me oatmeal and some berries and Vitamin C tea. 

By 9:30 I'm ready for some more Tramadol and aspirin. I work on the computer for awhile and then I lie down for two hours. 

Arizona Health Services called James because he tested positive for Covid. He said he was on the phone two hours with them answering questions. They told him that he is contagious two days before he had symptoms, which would have been Sunday, August 1st. He told everyone he could think of including Chris at East Valley Urology. 

I was able to blog, index, and get all of my steps today. I will have 70,000 steps for the week but I'm not sure how long I can keep this up. 

This evening James and I watched the newest Hallmark movie, "The 27-hour day" starring two of my very favorite Hallmark stars, Andrew Walker and Autumn Reeser.

Christianity is founded on the greatest of all miracles, the Resurrection of our Lord. If that be admitted, other miracles cease to be improbable. Miracles should not be regarded as deviations from the ordinary course of nature so much as manifestations of divine or spiritual power. They were intended to be a proof to the Jews that Jesus was the Christ.

5:46 Up, scriptures and prayer. I studied for awhile, took some Tramadol and went back to bed for awhile until I felt better. I got up and fixed James some breakfast and tea so he could take his meds. Anthony comes by and leaves his breathing machine, and some other things for James. He doesn't know I am sick too so he calls on the phone and tells me to make sure James gets plenty to eat. I'm trying but he doesn't have much of an appetite. 

My Citrus Sunshine tea tastes so good on my dry throat. I am continuing to take the Ivermectin but refuse to take the 12 or so bottles of supplements Pierce left for us to take. I tried and I got nauseated. James is taking them and the hydroxycholorquine.

I got a call from my friend Katherine checking to see how we are doing. It's nice to have such great friends like we do here in Vernon.

New plan for Jared's ordination. He really wants dad to do it and since our plan to go out there has evaporated, he, Charlie, and Kacey are coming to Arizona. They will arrive on the 19th and stay until Monday, the 23rd. They hope we can make it down to the valley by then so other family members can attend the ordination. His stake president said someone from their high council would have to attend virtually so we would need to make those arrangements. I am so excited to see Charlie and to be able to take her shopping for her birthday!

 I ordered some more Built bars. Some rocky road for me and a mix for Ben.

I don't have to cancel my seller account on Amazon I just have to put it in vacation mode so I am not charged each month.

I ordered some parchment paper and the book, "The Way of Kings" today.

Faith is to hope for things which are not seen, but which are true (Heb. 11:1; Alma 32:21), and must be centered in Jesus Christ in order to produce salvation. To have faith is to have confidence in something or someone.

Up at 4:30 to go from the recliner to the bed. I got up again at 7:50.

I get breakfast for James and for myself. I also took my meds. I indexed and did scriptures with James. Collin called James to see how he was doing and James told him he thought he had Covid and was going into town today to be tested, which he did.

I drove James into town and dropped him off at Summit while I went to Walmart to pick up three of my prescriptions. We both wore masks. James had his test and then walked over to Walmart. They said they would have his results in about two hours. On the way home we went through Taco Bell and Splash and Dash for gas. Gas is $3.18 a gallon. We finished our book, "The Secrets of Stonebridge" and when we got home we laid down on the recliner and watched a Hallmark Drama movie starring James Denton called "Love and Honor." We both enjoyed it. James called the hospital and found out that his Covid test was positive. Anthony brings over some hydroxycholorquine which he says he got at the Silver Creek Clinic in Snowflake. James calls the clinic and they said they would call him back tomorrow. 

Jared is worried about us and Sheri says she will come up and take care of us but of course I tell her no. Stacy, Paul, and Joshua wanted to come up for a visit this weekend but obviously that's not going to happen. How sad.

James takes some tramadol and feels a little better. He goes outside to feed Luna and then comes in and does some indexing, one of his most favorite things to do. He also takes some Hydro...and Ivermectin and has an allergic reaction. Pierce tells him not to take both. James takes the hydroxycholorquine and I take the Ivermectin. Pierce says they both work but he prefers the Ivermectin. I'll take Pierce's recommendation and James can take Anthony's. Anthony had Covid and he swares by the hydroxycholorquine. Collin said that's what saved his son when he had it too. Kathy, our neighbor used Ivermectin when she had it and she loves it.

I am feeling pretty miserable with a scratchy throat and a cough. I can't sleep after going to bed so I get up and take some NyQuil cold and flu. I am in the bedroom and James is on the recliner in a partial sit-up position.  Sweet Dreams.
