Mosiah 4:2
And they had viewed themselves in their own carnal state, even less than the dust of the earth. And they all cried aloud with one voice, saying: O have mercy, and apply the atoning blood of Christ that we may receive forgiveness of our sins, and our hearts may be purified; for we believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who created heaven and earth, and all things; who shall come down among the children of men.

We Can Do Better and Be Better
Russell M. Nelson
"Make your focus on daily repentance so integral to your life that you can exercise the priesthood with greater power than before."

I had to post this article about Chelsea and Cody's son Cash. How exciting for him!

The floor polish removal about did me in today. My body was sore the rest of the day, but I hit a major milestone. I finished most of the living room, and high table area. Now I just have the family room and I will be done. I do still have the upstairs floor to do but it might not get done before company next weekend.

We had planned on going to town today but I was just too tired after working on the floor. Food wise we are scraping the bottom of the barrel, or at least it seems that way. I had chicken noodle soup again with my sweet chili sauce for lunch and James had chicken gumbo. For dinner I found a couple of frozen hamburger patties in the freezer.

I robbed my piggy banks today. James wouldn't let me have more than a dollar from his Snoopy bank. I used this money to fill the plastic Easter eggs I got for our Easter picnic on Saturday.

Tomorrow is egg coloring at Sheri's and I told James I wanted to be there by 3.

James picked up a book today at the post office that he ordered called "Social Problems." It really did give us some problems. The book is an instructor's manual and it is written on the front and on the back Do Not Sell. How can people sell a book that says Do Not Sell? Anyway this book has 3 ISBN's and one you could buy for $40 and sell for $128. James bought it and then checked the sales rank which was not good. We cancelled the order and shipped the instructor's manual that we received today,  back.

I took a hot whirlpool bath this evening to soothe my aching muscles.

2 Nephi 25:16
And after they have been scattered, and the Lord God hath scourged them by other nations for the space of many generations, yea, even down from generation to generation until they shall be persuaded to believe in Christ, the Son of God, and the atonement, which is infinite for all mankind - and when that day shall come that they shall believe in Christ, and worship the Father in his name, with pure hearts and clean hands, and look not forward any more for another Messiah, then, at that time, the day will come that it must needs be expedient that they should believe these things.

Where Will This Lead?
Dallin H. Oaks
"We make better choices and decisions if we look at the alternatives and ponder where they will lead."

A little moisture last night and this morning. I guess it was enough to make the roads muddy because when James went to the post office he took the truck. I worked a couple of hours paying bills before he left so he could mail them.

I had some canned chicken noodle soup for lunch and put some of the sweet chili sauce that I got from Mountain Thai in it. It was spicy good.

James worked on income taxes again today. I inventoried the five books he brought back from the post office and I bought three more. We have decided not to buy any more until we sell some of the newer ones we bought in the last couple of weeks.

I blogged, and walked, and cooked some chicken in the crockpot with salsa. When it was finished I shredded it and made myself a tasty chicken burro. James had his with corn chips and cheese.

I got a sweet email from a sister in our ward that really made my day. Here it is:

This sister gives more community service than anyone I know. She is the president of the park, runs the community food bank and is involved in the Vernon's Women's Club. If you need some service done, Paula will be there to help. She is pretty amazing.

I just heard that Evans Farnsworth is undergoing surgery for lung cancer. His wife Terry was my secretary when I served as the Stake Relief Society Presidency. Our thoughts and prayers are with them at this most difficult time.

Monte is doing better and even got to eat some Jello today, the first thing he has eaten in two months. Hopefully he will get to go home in a couple of days.

There was an unwanted critter in the pantry this evening. James told me he would see to it that he was not made to feel welcome.

The Arnett's: A.J., Anthony, Wendy, Danny, Chea, Kathy, Channy, Heidi, Casey, Jackie, Pierce, Cliff Jr., or Boggs is the only one missing. He left early from the funeral.

The Power of Sustaining Faith

"By raising your hand to sustain, you make a promise with God, whose servants there are, that you will sustain them."

Happy 21st Birthday Alex!

Sheri posted so many I couldn't choose.
These seven were my favorites.

A couple of quotes from the article in the Ensign, "Instruments or Agents": 'Righteousness must be freely chosen.' 'Does God want his children to be submissive instruments or proactive agents? It should not surprise us that the answer is both. He wants His children to become as He is, and that requires that we acquire the attributes of both a trusting instrument and a trusted agent. He wants us to humbly and willingly learn from our experiences in the hands of the Master so that we may one day be masters ourselves.'

We sold some more books on Amazon today. The best was one we have here at home called, merchant fulfilled. It is an old wire-bound book on building ponds in different ecosystems. We priced it at $77.95 and we made $55.91. One of our best sales so far. I prepared to ship the book to the woman in Oregon and we will mail it tomorrow.

James worked on the Willis's roof today and then came home this evening. He said he was rained on most of the way. I wasn't even aware that it was raining here. What does that say about me?

I bought ten more books today to replenish our inventory.

You're my hero.

Oh dear, this is just too much!

Best friends forever!
