"Preparing For The Second Coming Of Christ"
Elder Christoffel Golden
Of the Seventy
For those who have eyes to see, ears to hear, and hearts to feel, more than ever before we are required to confront the reality that we are getting ever closer to the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. True, great difficulties yet await those on the earth at His return, but in this regard, the faithful need not fear.
Inklings
Heavenly Father and Jesus will never forget us. They love us.
Prayer 10
Look what I got in the mail today:
So pretty and comfy because they are
fur-lined!
At 7 a.m. I started stripping the kitchen floor, again. I alternate between blogging and stripping. While blogging I had some videos of the kids playing in the snow that I tried to download. I hope they work.
I read with James and then read my book, "A Blind Eye." For lunch I decided to fix scalloped potatoes because James loves them so much.
I made the potatoes and James did love them but I thought they were a little dry. I think I put too many potatoes. When I heat them up again I will add more sauce and cheese.
James went to get the mail today and mailed Anna's birthday card. He has said we can send cards but no gifts this year because we really can't afford it. This is going to be really hard for me but I know it is the right thing. I just hope I can write heartfelt messages in the birthday cards I send so my kids and their spouses and the grandkids know how much I love them.
James had a meeting at the church tonight at six. It's an elders quorum presidency meeting. While James is gone I'm still working on the kitchen floor. It's driving me crazy trying to get all of these dried blobs of crusty polish off of the floor. I wonder if I will ever be done.
I finish my blook "A Blind Eye." I liked it but I did not like the killing. It's just not my thing. When James gets home we read from "Silhouette" and then he finishes putting turkey in food saver bags. I'm so glad he handled this mess. This is kind of gross but he took the turkey carcass outside for the ravens and they picked it clean. Does that make them cannibals?
This evening I blogged and walked 11,000 steps. I just finished blogging January 2nd. I finally finished 2021!
I texted Tanna today to see how she is doing.
