But how can preaching the gospel and seeking after our dead both be the single greatest duty and responsibility God has placed upon us? I believe the Prophet Joseph Smith was emphasizing in both statements the fundamental truth that covenants, entered into through authoritative priesthood ordinances, can bind us to the Lord Jesus Christ and are the essential core of the work of salvation and exaltation on both sides of the veil.
Prayer Day 5

I got up at 5:40, quite late for me. I went on the church website and tried to email the sister in our ward about this Sunday's Relief Society lesson. I couldn't do it, but Tamara was able to.

I finished the thank you note I wrote to Kim and Brian. We went to the church at 11 to clean. As James looked around he thinks someone has already been here cleaning. He calls a couple of people but no one has been here. I cleaned the mother's bathroom and the women's bathroom and Brother Allen cleaned the men's bathroom. James dumped the garbage while Brother Allen cleaned the foyer doors and windows. The chapel is clean and so are the classrooms and other meeting rooms. We are finished.

I came home and had a bowl of Life cereal with blueberries and settled down to watch a Hallmark movie, "Where Your Heart Belongs."

James and I finished our audio book, "No Way Out." I was right, Tim was the bad guy!

James is working upstairs. I shamed him into taking all of his stuff off the dining room table. James finished the bid for the airplane hangar at the Casa Grande airport for Bob Joye. Mr. Joye accepted the bid and they signed a contract. James has another contract for building a hangar in Casa Grande for a man from South Africa, Mr. Rademeyer. We are excited to have this work!

Since we are working in the temple tomorrow, I gave James a much needed haircut this evening. He guided me as to what to do and I must say, it is one of the better haircuts I have given him. I should have taken a picture.

James went to bed while I stayed up to finish my walking and work on my blog.
