"The Name Of The Church Is Not Negotiable"
Elder Neil L. Andersen
Of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles
The doctrine of Christ is unchanging and everlasting. Yet specific and important steps of the Savior's work are revealed at their appropriate time. This morning President Nelson said, "The Restoration is a process, not an event." And the Lord has said, "All things must come to pass in their time." Now is our time, and we are reestablishing the revealed name of the Church.

Sheri rans 4.5 miles this morning and Ben ran 7. James made venison steak and gravy for breakfast. He had promised Jared that he would since Jared missed our beast feast on Christmas morning.

After breakfast Molly and Kim sat down and started to watch an episode of Heartland. Sheri and Jared worked on the ice cream puzzle. Rowan, Evan, Joshua, and possibly Max, went on a Razr ride and got stuck. They were gone so long we almost went out looking for them. Joshua, Ben and Autumn played a game of Settlers. Sheri, Kim and I watched "A Very Merry Bridesmaid." Another game of Five Crowns was started and while we were playing Sheri made some gingerbread molasses cookies. When Scarlett found out that Sheri was going home tomorrow she said, "Oh Sheri, I am going to miss you." She then drew her a picture and gave it to her.

For dinner we had enchiladas, tamales, and refried beans. Trina and Darrel came this afternoon bringing Ruby and Lola. They also brought us some pizza. I made enchiladas instead of tacos with the chicken meat I cooked and Sheri made hamburgers and hot dogs. Sheri wanted to cook all of her food so she wouldn't have to take any home with her. We are going to have lots of leftovers after everyone leaves.

The girls, Scarlett and Charlie included played with the nerf guns and chased the boys, especially Evan. Lola, Molly, and Ruby make a fort with Kim using all of the blankets lying around. They also did a puzzle together. James worked on repairing the downstairs drywall in the Christmas tree closet. It was a busy and fun day. Max played his guitar and sang.
