The pandemic has demonstrated how quickly life can change, at times from circumstances beyond our control. However, there are many things we can control. We set our own priorities and determine how we use our energy, time, and means. We decide how we will treat each other. We choose those to whom we will turn for truth and guidance.

Happy 48th birthday Kim! For breakfast we had pancakes, sausage, bacon, strawberries, and breakfast casserole. Right after breakfast Sheri and her boys leave.
Joshua actually went home later with Kim, Brian, and Rowan.

A little while later Kim, Brian, Joshua, and Rowan leave. Rowan was going to stay but he really wanted to go home, I could tell. The reason he wanted to go home was because all of the boys were leaving and he would be left with the girls.

I was going to make her a cake but she said no.
After Kim and Brian left James and I went to town. We stopped at Pet Sense and James took Candace's calendar in and gave it to someone who said they would see that she got it. Thanks James for doing my ministering.
We also went to the bank to make a deposit, we got gas and shopped at Walmart. I want to make spaghetti tonight for dinner because I know that most kids like spaghetti.
Jared went into town with Molly, Ruby, and Lola and bought two round saucer sleds. He also went to Panda and got Molly her favorite meal, orange chicken.
Later he took the girls sledding.
I hope these videos can be opened and viewed. I don't have very much experience posting videos.
Jared, Kacey, Autumn, and I played Five Crowns. Autumn won. I scored 99 points and made the comment, just like Betty White, almost 100. Betty passed away today just short of her hundredth birthday and birthday party where everyone was invited.
We had spaghetti for dinner. Jared made Pioneer Woman French bread. It requires two cubes of butter and a broiler. It is delicious!
Some of us, including Lola, Ruby, and Molly watched "The Parent Trap" this evening. Afterwards James and I went to bed. Jared, Kacey, Molly, Ruby, and Lola (may have gone to sleep) stayed up to celebrate the New Year.
