Of the Seventy
I have never felt such an outpouring of love. I have never sensed more powerfully and in such a personal way what it means to comfort those in need of comfort. Our family will be ever grateful for that outpouring.
I cannot describe the countless miracles that accompanied these events. Gratefully, our son survived, but it has taken a long time and much medical, therapeutic, and spiritual care for him to heal and to accept that he is loved, valued, and needed.

Prayer Day 8
James got a call from Armando early this morning after trying to get ahold of him for several days. Armando can meet at the Casa Grande Airport to look at the job. James left early and was back around 9.
When James get here I am sitting at the dining room table working on my blog and visiting with Trina. The kids are at school and Darrel is at the gym. Trina and I are discussing "Rule over vs. Rule with" when it comes to man and woman. I posted something by KristenWalkerSmith on my blog yesterday. She says that this sentence, "the man shall rule over thee" bothered her. She did some research and found the Hebrew translation should have been "rule with". This is what is taught to us in modern day through the Family Proclamation and other things.
Trina told me about a book she was reading, "The Giver of Stars." It sounded so good that I rejoined Audible so I could read it.
James and I leave for my infusion at 10. Now Trina is gone to the gym and Darrel is home getting ready for work. We left Darrel with Olga the housekeeper. Before leaving I thank Darrel again for the test kit for Ty. We did not hug because of the threat of Covid.
After my infusion, I walked over to Costco where James had gotten gas and was waiting for me. We walked into Costco together to get walnuts, and some other items. We see and visit with our friends Bob and Claire Kaufmann who are on a full-time mission in the Tempe mission. They informed us that their friend and our aquaintance, Marilou Randall had passed away. She was our age and had Parkinson's. She was in the Kaufman's ward while her mom, Maxine Ballard was in our ward. I knew and loved Maxine better than I knew Marilou. Her husband, Brother Randall, was a teacher at the high school.
While James is talking to Bob I notice that he has blueberries all over his teeth and mouth. When we get back to the car he is upset with me that I didn't tell him. I reminded him that I did before we went into Costco.
It is a beautiful day here in the Valley of the Sun. This is why we have so many winter visitors, because of days like this.
After doing our shopping we used the gift cards for Cheesecake Factory that we got from Darrel and Trina. We went to the Chandler mall Cheesecake Factory and order off their skinnylicious menu.
We ordered crab bites to share. They are small, the size of a bouncy ball like I have at home, and there are six. We each get three, hardly enough to satisfy our appetite. We also got some sourdough and molasses bread which we finished off quite efficiently. I ordered potstickers and James ordered stuffed mushrooms. I also ordered a peach smoothie with raspberry. All of this came most nicely arranged and tasted delicious, there just wasn't much of it.
Delicious but we spent all of our $50 gift card
We headed north on the 101 for home. We started a new book called, "Silhouette." I fall asleep and miss Payson where I wanted to stop to get a drink. I failed to tell James so he didn't stop.
We stopped at Safeway in Show Low so we could get biscuits. I also bought some self-rising flour and Sprite to make some homemade biscuits. We spent 32.00 even.
When we got to Vernon we stopped at the library to give Tamara the test kit. She was so grateful and especially grateful to Darrel for not charging for it. She asked for his address so she could send him a thank you card.
Our garage door is not working right so James has to go in the front door and then go around and open the garage from the inside. After the door is open, he goes out to feed Luna. After putting stuff away, James takes some of the leftover steak that Sheri left and made some fajitas. I heated up corn tortillas and walla, they were delicious! Finally a decent sized meal!
I watched the Hallmark movie, "The Wedding Veil" part 1 with Lacey Chabert, Kevin McGarry, Autumn Reeser, and Allison Sweeney. I also finished my walking and James and I listened to a chapter from "Silhouette" before going to bed.
James picked oranges and grapefruits
