Jesus was able to identify people's needs even at a distance. Thus, it is not surprising, for example, that immediately after healing a certain centurion's servant, Jesus traveled from Capernaum to the city called Nain. It was there that Jesus performed one of the most tender miracles of His earthly ministry when He commanded a dead young man, the only son of a widowed mother, to rise and live. Jesus sensed not only the intense suffering of that poor mother but also the difficult circumstances of her life, and He was moved by genuine compassion for her.

Prayer Day 1
To hear the quiet invitation of the Master as He invites me to come and see, to experience firsthand the majesty of His touch, and to be led to understand what nets I need to leave behind.

Listened to part of "Don't Miss This" then went to "Teaching with Power."

Pierce calls to check on us. He's got a cold so James took him some freshly squeezed orange juice and some summer sausage. While James was there he invited Pierce over for biscuits and gravy this Thursday. Normally I would be stressed because there is so much to be done around here, such as, taking down Christmas and cleaning the floors. But this is Pierce and he is family.

In spite of all that needs to be done, I found time to watch two Christmas movies, "A Christmas Family Tree", and "A Furry Little Christmas."

Stripping the kitchen floor takes forever! (Today is the 13th and I'm still working on it). James is finishing up the drywall patching downstairs. He says it has to be done before he can put the Christmas tree away.

There were two coyotes out in our field. James grabs his gun and goes outside. He misses them but at least they run away. He came back to tell me the snow was about 8 inches deep out in our field.

Autumn sent this text to me today:
Thank you for having me and Scarlett, we had a great time and are blessed to be counted part of your family.
Me: I'm so glad you came! You are definitely family!
Autumn: We loved seeing you and James again and everyone else we got to meet. You have created an amazing legacy!
Scarlett and Charlie are glad to be home and have been playing and running their energy out.
Me: Thank you Autumn. We feel very blessed to have your mom and her children in our family! And of course Scarlett, she is such a sweetheart!

I also paid bills and scheduled our timeshare for the week of our anniversary. James helped me with the kitchen floor but I'm still not finished.

James cancelled the credit card he uses for Lambson Construction because he didn't recognize a charge. I had asked him not to cancel because I found a number to call on the charge but I guess he didn't hear me. Now we have to wait a couple of weeks before he gets the new card.

James took 15 bags of the garbage to the dump today.
