Jesus Christ, Messiah
2 Nephi 1:10
But behold, when the time cometh that they shall dwindle in unbelief, after they have received so great blessings from the hand of the Lord - having a knowledge of the creation of the earth, and all men, knowing the great and marvelous works of the Lord from the creation of the world; having power given them to do all things by faith; having all the commandments from the beginning, and having been brought by his infinite goodness into this precious land of promise - behold, I say, if the day shall come that they will reject the Holy One of Israel, the true Messiah, their Redeemer and their God, behold, the judgments of him that is just shall rest upon them.

'Hearts Knit in Righteousness and Unity'
Elder Quentin L. Cook
As leaders, we are not under the illusion that in the past all relationships were perfect, all conduct was Christlike, or all decisions were just. However, our faith teaches that we are all children of our Father in Heaven, and we worship Him and HIs Son, Jesus Christ, who is our Savior. Our desire is that our hearts and minds will be knit in righteousness and unity and that we will be one with Them.
P4 S1
We affirm that under the direction of the Father and the Son, heavenly messengers came to instruct Joseph and re-establish the Church of Jesus Christ.
My goal is to get up at 5 a.m. but this morning it was after 6. The early morning is my study time.
A year or so ago I bought six books called CISA manuals. I thought they were going to sell so I bought five copies. I ended up not selling them Prime so I had them sent home and I've been trying to sell them merchant fulfilled. I got a notice that I sold one on Monday. Usually I have two days before I have to send the book. When I went online and began to go through the process of buying the shipping I noticed it said this package was suppose to have been mailed yesterday. I also was surprised to see that the entire package was costing $32 and $17 of that was overnight air shipping. Oops! I immediately got the package ready and called James to ask him if he was going to town. He said that he was not so I got dressed and drove in to the UPS store which is over 25 miles away. I mailed the book and said a little prayer that it would not be too late since the guy had paid so much to ship it.
On the way home I stopped at Dollar General for some snacks. As I was in line checking out James called me and said he decided that he did need to go to town and would like to go with me. Obviously he was not calling from the house or he would know I was gone. I told him I was at Dollar General. He asked if I could get some D sized batteries. Luckily no one was behind me in line and the cashier found the batteries for me. I bought four.
The weather is so beautiful here right now with the high in the upper 60's, sunshine and no wind. I came home and made two loaves of pumpkin bread, one loaf with lots of walnuts and one loaf without. One loaf is for us and the other is for our neighbor Chelsea. I have been assigned to be her ministering sister.
I watched one of my favorite Lifetime channel Christmas movies, "Mistletoe and Menorah's."
I also cleaned upstairs this afternoon in preparation for Dave and Terry coming tomorrow to help James scout for elk.
James wanted to go to bed at 9 because he says he is leaving at 4:30 in the morning. He went to bed before I did but I wasn't far behind.
Happy 44th Birthday Jared!
