"We must be merciful and overlook small things. It grieves me that there is no fuller fellowship - if one member suffer all feel it - by union of feeling we obtain power with God."

This Church is anchored in the perfect life of its chief cornerstone, Jesus Christ, and in His infinite Atonement and literal Resurrection.

James fed Luna this morning and then he fed me. As I was in the bedroom working on my computer and studying, he brought me a bowl of oatmeal and a cup of tea.

As I was studying this morning I got a call from Jean. I was so happy to hear from her. She wanted me to know what was going on and that she was okay. She had polyps removed from her uterus. Stacy has had this done. Jean sounded like she felt well and was looking forward to Millie bringing dinner. She invited me to come and eat with them but I politely declined. She said the Hunsaker's had also invited them to come and eat with their family. I told her we wanted to have them over for dinner too. She said I needed to check with Tom because they would be going to the valley in a few days.

As I studied this morning I listened to "Scripture Gems" on YouTube. This is a site featuring two brothers who discuss the scriptures together. Today it was really good. Here are a few things I got from this study:

Lots of good information. I enjoy this "Come Follow Me" study.

I was waiting this morning to hear from Paula as to whether she had made a doctors appointment and needed a ride to town. Early afternoon she texted and said none of the doctors on the mountain took her insurance so she wouldn't be going to town. She said she felt better today anyway. I told her I would be going to town either today or tomorrow and could pick up anything she needed. She said her son goes to town everyday and does errands for her.

James came in and asked what was for lunch. I looked in the frig and found the last container of leftover stew. I made some biscuits to go with the stew and walla, lunch!  After eating I read from "Blackberry Crumble" while James walked. During rest time I walked and watched: "A Family for Christmas," starring Lacey Chabert; and "Grounded for Christmas," starring Juliana Guill and Corey Sevier.

I had to do a lot of walking this afternoon because I didn't do any this morning. I cleaned off my desk and found some important papers I gave to James. I apologized for having these papers that he had been looking for.

James borrowed Pierce's welder today. He says he has over 100 welds to do and did six today. James had to tell me about his visit to Pierce's. He has more land and another huge storage building which is full of his family's belongings. Pierce is definitely preparing for the future for he and Barbara and the rest of his family. He has a huge greenhouse, a solar generator, and many other items which will help prepare for coming calamities. Barbara dehydrates food and is putting it away and of course they have the two cows they bought. They are a great example to us. We love them so much and I wish there was more we could do for them.

James came in this morning and made his own dinner. Chicken with rice and a piece of corn from Kathy's garden. I told him I wasn't eating. I read a couple of chapters to him and we did some walking before settling down to watch our Christmas movies. We watched two James had not seen before. The first was new and the second was one from last year that I had seen.
"Christmas on the Vine" starring Juliana Guill
"A Snowed In Christmas" starring Andrew Walker and Joy Beth Lenz
We laughed so hard during the second movie. I don't know when I have enjoyed a movie more. It was great to share that experience with James. For refreshments James made Pero for himself and hot chocolate for me. I stuck a peppermint stick in my chocolate.

Before going to bed I finished walking until I reached 12,000 steps.

James and I remember when we had the Croyle children stay with us. Whenever we got in the car Jennifer, about 8 or 9, always wanted me to play my Shania Twain CD with this song on it.
