In the final days of His mortal life, Jesus Christ told His Apostles of the persecutions and hardships they would suffer. He concluded with this great assurance: "In the world ye shall have tribulations: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world" (John 16:33). That is the Savior's message to all of our Heavenly Father's children. That is the ultimate good news for each of us in our mortal lives.

Millions throughout the world have embraced a knowledge of these prophesied events.

I ordered Lola a gift and since they would not send it to my house, I had it sent to Sheri's. It will be delivered on Dec. 4th. I ordered 8 other gifts to be delivered to our house.

I worked on my budget this morning and felt a little better about my spending. I walked and then blogged until I began having computer problems. James called this evening and said how tired he was and how long he had worked. He said nothing had been done and the houses were a mess because no one had thrown away their trash. He seemed a little discouraged and said he was going to take a hot shower and go to bed early. He was at Darrel's with Ruby. Everyone else was gone. I told him he was lucky because there is no better person in the world than Ruby. I had a spiritual confirmation of this a few years ago when she was staying with us.

I told James that cows had been here this afternoon and Luna's water was low. He began telling me how to get rid of them: Maybe tomorrow morning you should ride the Razr around the property boundary and find out where the cows are getting in and drive them out It's probably at the gate on the north east corner where it meets Dave Elkins place. You may need to retie the wires if they are down. I responded: So, I'm basically becoming you? James: Just a suggestion. Don't worry about it. I'm worried about the horse pasture disappearing. Me: I will give it a try but I'm not as good as you. I never saw the cows again.
