Jesus Christ, Messiah
2 Nephi 2:26
And the Messiah cometh in the fulness of time, that he may redeem the children of men from the fall. And because that they are redeemed from the fall they have become free forever, knowing good from evil; to act for themselves and not to be acted upon, save it be by the punishment of the law at the great and last day, according to the commandments which God hath given.

'Becoming Like Him'
Elder Scott D. Whiting
As we progress, we become more complete, finished, and fully developed. Such teaching is not based on any one sect's doctrines but comes directly from the Master Himself. It is through this lens that lives should be lived, communications considered, and relationships fostered. Truly, there is no other way to heal the wounds of broken relationships or of a fractured society than for each of us to more fully emulate the Prince of Peace.

Restoration Proclamation
P3 S1
In humility, we declare that in answer to his prayer, God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ, appeared to Joseph and inaugurated the "restitution of all things" (Acts 3:21) as foretold in the Bible.

Today is Cammy Grapp's birthday. I texted this morning to wish her a Happy Birthday and found out no one is making her a birthday cake. I made a trip to Walmart and got a carrot cake and a small cheesecake with some toppings.

On the way back from town I stopped at the Grapp's. When I knocked on the door, Emsley, who is seven answered and her eyes were rimmed in red as if she had been crying.  Lynda Finnell, a friend, came up behind Emsley with Leland. She said everyone else was a grandma and grandpa's. Grandpa fell this morning and he has not come out of it. I put Cammy's present (pink blanket and an apron) on the table, along with the carrot cake and cheesecake, and some orange chicken and rice. Benson came before and left and I gave him a hug and told him I was sorry about his great grandpa. He opened the gate for me when I left. Lynda texted me later and said Thomas tried to run and stop me when I left. They wanted to see me and talk to me before I left. I'm sorry I didn't see him.

When I got home I took a break and then it was time to get ready for tonight's "Come Follow Me" lesson with our group. I wrapped Donna's gift, an autumn blanket like the one I gave Tamara, and James and I both signed her card.  I cut up fresh strawberries to put on the cheesecake and put a tablecloth on the table. I then went in and got ready myself. I thought the meeting started at 6 but I guess everyone agreed to wait until 6:30. That's fine with me. I like that time better anyway.

The Cranes, Peelers, and Goodmans all came to study Mormon 7-9 with us. After the lesson Pierce and James helped me handout the cheesecake. Kathy has been having stomach problems so she didn't take any. Everyone else thought it was delicious.

The Goodman's and Brother Peeler are going to Idaho early in the morning to move Barbara's sister Vickie to Vernon. She lives in Ammon, Idaho. She will be staying with Pierce and Barbara until her manufactured home arrives. I sent Donna home with the leftover cheesecake so she won't be alone while they are gone. (Haha)

After everyone left and the dishes were in the dishwasher James and I sat down to watch a new Hallmark Christmas movies. This one is called, "Holly and Ivy" and I think it was the best one we have watched so far. Such a feel good movie about people who are kind and always serving others. Speaking of Holly, James and Chuck went to Holly Gordon's today to get ready to pour a floor for a storage unit someone gave her. They will work on it every Monday and there will be no charge for their labor.

This happened on "DWTS"

I would love to go here sometime with
my granddaughters

Brother Halverson used this quote on his Unshaken program today.
I guess his mom is reading the book, "Call the Midwife." This is from the show I watched with Stacy when she was here.

When Cammy thanked me for the dinner she sent this picture of
Leland eating blueberries from a can. They were a topping for the cheesecake.

Whitney Carson got this picture for her baby boy
nursery. It's just like the one Trina has.
