My dear sisters, I am honored to be with you. You have been on my mind so often during these past few months. You are more than eight million strong. You have not only the number but the spiritual power to change the world. I have watched you doing just that during this pandemic.
You have found new ways to make the Sabbath a delight. And you have made protective masks - millions of them!
With heartfelt compassion and love, my heart goes out to the many women around the world whose loved ones have died. We weep with you. And we pray for you. We praise and pray for all who work tirelessly to safeguard the health of others.
Restoration Proclamation
P8 S1
We gladly declare that the promised Restoration goes forward through continuing revelation.
I listened to Book of Mormon Central as part of my "Come Follow Me" study this morning. I made myself some scrambled eggs for breakfast after going outside in the wind and feeding Luna.
I got a notice today from Quicken that they have no proof of homeowners insurance for us. I got online on Liberty Mutual, our insurance carrier, and they have a policy for my car but none for the house. The policy I have here at home no longer exists. I tried to call and talk to someone but kept getting automated responses so I finally decided to leave this for when James gets home. He will be home this evening. He said he found someone to finish up for him on the job.
I put cabbage and ham in the crockpot for dinner. I know how much James loves cabbage although I must say it doesn't smell as good as I would like.
I dusted, vacuumed, and swept in the family-living area. James got here around 3:30 and left me two burros in the frig. The first thing he wanted to do was take a nap. Afterwards he went outside to work awhile and then to feed Luna. I had to tell him about the insurance situation on the house and then to announce that the washer wasn't working.
James loved the cabbage and ham. To me it was okay. James wanted to watch a movie and of course I could accommodate. We watched one we had seen once before, "The Spirit of Christmas" on Lifetime starring Jen Lilley. We both really liked it. We also listened to a podcast on agency which was soo good. I really like this quote, "You can't have equal outcome without coercion."
