Never underestimate the profound truth that "the Spirit speaketh . . . of things as they really are, and of things as they really will be." "It will show unto you all things what ye should do."
Nothing invites the Spirit more than fixing your focus on Jesus Christ. Talk of Christ, rejoice in Christ, feast upon the words of Christ, and press forward with steadfastness in Christ. Make your Sabbath a delight as you worship Him, partake of the sacrament, and keep His day holy.

Today is the 23rd anniversary of my mom's death. Every time I go to Taylor or Snowflake and I pass the spot where she was hit, I think of her and how much I miss her. Stacy always remembers and texts me.
James had an interesting dream last night. He dreamed that he bought a refrigerator and a stove to go in the basement. I told him it sounded like inspiration and he should act upon it.
I watched Tyler and Taylor on Book of Mormon Central today and finished "Unshaken." Lots of good information.
Today I paid bills and ran off all of Courtney's advanced cake recipes. With all three categories, beginner, intermediate, and advanced I have 144 cake Ki.
Kim and Brian went for a walk this afternoon. It was perfect weather for a walk outside. Kim shared this with us today. She says one of her favorite scriptures is Moses 1:18 - And again Moses said: I will not cease to call upon God, I have other things to inquire of Him: for his glory has been upon me, wherefore I can judge between him and thee. Depart hence, Satan. Moses could discern that Satan was not God because he had just been with God and His glory. I love the phrase, I will not cease to call upon God, I have other things to inquire of Him. Don't we all have things we want to ask God?
While we were playing Five Crowns this evening Brian and Kim had put baked pears in the oven for dessert. They smelled delicious and tasted even better. Brian has gone off processed sugar. These pears were flavored with real maple syrup, cinnamon and walnuts. I told them we had made baked apples with cinnamon, stevia and butter. Brian was wishing he had put butter in the pears as we were eating them. He mentioned it several times. Oh, by the way, I won the Five Crowns game!
After our game I helped James setup the YouTube presentation of "Is Genesis History? Brian watched it with him and Kim listened while working on her puzzle. I was in the bedroom working on my blog.
Brian and Kim both loved the presentation and James says he loved it more this time, his third time, than ever before.
President Steven Shumway, our former stake president, who is now serving as the president of the Illinois, Chicago mission, was called as an Area Seventy. He is in the Eleventh Quorum (North America Southwest and North America West areas). He will be wonderful in this calling. He is such a people person and is so kind and thoughtful.
He called stake members on their birthdays when he was our stake president.
