Please come find your family, all your generations, and bring them home.
I am still struggling emotionally and physically. James helped me talk through things this morning and I felt better, until James took my blood pressure. It was 144/76. The same after I took my blood pressure meds. 114/67 after taking James's meds nifedipin.
I made an appointment with Dr. Moffat for tomorrow.
James called his mom today. She sounded really discouraged. She says she can't turn over in bed without help and she can't get out of bed without help. She said she is going downhill fast. She made the comment, "this too shall pass away."
I ran off all of the conference talks today and put them in order. I need to pick at least 12 for the upcoming six months for our Relief Society lessons. I spoke with Rosie about our new format, asking questions and being a discussion facilitator instead of a teacher. Tamara is going to lead a council at the beginning of Rosie's next lesson about gifts of those in our ward.
We got to Facetime with Jared, Kacey and Charlie this afternoon before going to "Come Follow Me" at the Peeler's. We always look forward to this FaceTime session and this was an especially good one. Charlie communicated with us and talked about her Easter baskets. We talked about the fact that they need to buy a new car and wanted either a Toyota or a Honda. We talked about Adam, as he is coming for a visit this week and how he has friend gatherings at the Gonzo house and tells Stacy she needs to stay upstairs. Kacey shared that Tanner thinks he is the boss of their house. We talked a few minutes about Molly wanting to go to the Whitehouse ward girls camp. She loved the experience last year of staying in a beautiful cabin that even had a spa. Jared said he heard from the Whitehouse ward but he had to tell them that Molly would not be able to come because she would be with her mother that week. We talked about how James lives in New York now and Anna went to visit him. Jared had recently spoke with Anna and told her he wanted to be a part of her life. She told him that he would not approve of her lifestyle, that she was a bartender and an apprentice tatoo artist. He told her that he loved her and that they could have a relationship based on that love.
Emmy will talk to him, about soccer. He said he has not heard from James and has no way of contacting him. He said he did see a picture of him on Facebook that Jeanne Wallen had posted. I looked up those pictures.
"Come Follow Me" at the Peeler's was wonderful. On the way over James commented, "Well I guess Owen Peeler will be happy." When I asked why he said because of the wind today, he loves wind. I had just received a high wind advisory notice on my phone.
Everyone in our group was here, the Peeler's, Us, Barbara Bartels, Chuck and Kathy Crane, and Pierce Goodman. The highlight of the evening for me was when Owen asked us to sing, "I Know That My Redeemer Lives". We have some good singers in our little group, Donna, Kathy, and Pierce especially. It was beautiful. We sang all of the verses and I felt the Spirit. We went through the Easter lesson in the Sunday School manual and read all of the scriptures. It was long, but good. Afterwards Donna served some of her delicious cheesecake with cherry "cupcakes." I call them cupcakes because she serves them individually in cupcake papers.

I finished listening to Emily's book, "Grace to Become" and started one by Brad Wilcox, "Because of the Christ on Calvary." James continues to index.
Today's lunch was simple,
but nutritious.
Our Easter Tradition is to read one episode/tradition from this book
everyday the week before Easter. Instead of events, we focus on people. Today it is Lazarus.
The Tradition
Recognize Unexpected Hope
Read John 11:1-46
The Moment of Celebration
In representation of the hope that springs forth out of dark places, spend an evening planting wheat baskets.
Lazarus reminds us of
the unexpected hope that will spring forth
from the darkest moments of our lives.
