James spoke with his mom today on the phone. She seemed very discouraged. She said she is going downhill fast. She can't get in and out of bed without help or even turn over without help. She said they may put her in a rehab center when they release her from the hospital. At one point she said, "Oh well, this too shall pass away."

Adam knocked on my door this morning to say hi and I gave him a hug. Everyone else is still upstairs, probably asleep. When he and his friends are here they like to sleep, eat, and play games and sometimes ride the Razr. Adam asked where grandpa was and I told him he had gone to town with a couple who are doing some remodeling. They are going to Home Depot to look at cabinets, counter tops and appliances. The couple is the Peeler's. They stopped at LaCasita and had lunch. James brought me home an enchilada and some refried beans. Owen paid for the lunch.

I made Rice Krispy treats and wrapped them in purple cellophane and tied them with a bow and put them in Easter baskets. They looked so pretty and I didn't even take a picture. I made up the baskets for the MacArthur girls, Scotlyn and Peyton. I got a large egg for each of the Grapp kids and put candy in them and off I went.

I went to the Grapp's first. Emsley and Liana opened the gate for me but as usual, Benson escorted me in. He really is the friendliest. I gave each one of the kids their eggs and then set the basket with the Rice Krispy treats on the table and said they were for later, after dinner. From something Benson said and the quietness of Cammy I assume she had a hard day with the kids during home school. Benson said they were driving her crazy and Liana said, "You don't need to brag about it." I felt like I was intruding so I didn't stay long.
Things were different at the MacArthur's. Peyton was home from school and Chelsea was there with all three kids. I gave them their Easter baskets with the wind up chickens and the eggs with candy in them and they seemed happy. I gave Chelsea the basket with the Rice Krispy treats. We had a nice visit and she said they would be leaving on May 4th to go up to Alaska and spend two months with Jared. I gave each of the girls a package of purple Peep bunnies and they seemed happy. I really do love this family just as much as I love the Grapp's.

I spoke with Kaitlin when I got home. She was making her famous tater tot casserole for dinner. She said her sister Kilee had just had her fourth baby and that he mom moved to Lavine to be closer to them. They live in Peoria. Kaitlin said we were welcome to eat with them so I had a sample of the casserole. James was too busy indexing to even hear her.

Our ward was assigned to clean the temple tonight but Brother Miller said we did not need to come because they had enough people.

Such a cute picture!
