Jesus Christ, Savior
Mosiah 5:8
And under this head ye are made free, and there is no other head whereby ye can be made free. There is no other name given whereby salvation cometh; therefore, I would that ye should take upon you the name of Christ, all you that have entered into the covenant with God that ye should be obedient unto the end of your lives.
Book of Mormon
Mosiah 9:1-19

Two Disciples on the Road to Emmaus - Luke 24:13-32 - Draw Near
The disciples on the road to Emmaus
remind us that as we turn to the scriptures
our hearts will burn within,
we will be led to recognize the Lord,
and His Spirit will abide with us.
Relief Society General President
As we choose to make covenants and keep them, we will be blessed with more happiness in this life and a glorious eternal life to come.

"How Does the Passover Symbolize Christ's Atonement?"
Adam and his friends left around 11 o'clock today. They hadn't been gone long when Adam texted me and said that Kyle left his air pods and if I found them could I bring them down the next time I come. Also, Kaitlin left her sunglasses.
While James was taking Pierce's auger back, he lost the wheel on his Cat. It is parked on our road halfway into the road. He had another problem today. He took a small notebook with him to write down measurements at the Peeler's home in Globe. Now he can't find it. He said he was going to apply for a job at the School of Hard Knocks.
I'm not catching up on my blog as fast as I would like to but my steps today were 16,674. James and I left for stake conference leadership meeting around 2:20. Hopefully we won't be late. We sat in the middle section of the chapel in about row three, perfect seats. Here are some notes I took. Elder Alan D. Haynie is our visiting authority.
President Beeler - "Elder Haynie has a covenant heart." The Atonement of Jesus Christ is at the heart of Christian doctrine. When we talk of Christ, things brighten. How can we better include the Savior in every meeting, and all that we do? Prophetic Priority: Young Men serving a mission. Primary needs to help prepare young people for missions. Christ is at the center of all we do. We must save the Rising Generation. "The Savior is real. On dark days I have walked with Him."
Sister Brimhall - How do we inspire others? Members need to know who they are, children of God, and how to use their gifts and talents to help others. People freed from debtors prison likened unto our own Redemption. When praying, tell Heavenly Father what you have planned for the day and ask Him if it is okay, then listen. Follow the Spirit.
Elder Haynie of the Seventy - I took three pages of notes which I will try to condense. I don't worry about your stake because I have met you stake presidency. Direct the affairs of the Church through the Spirit. President Nelson's love is genuine. He prays for the members. He is quite remarkable.
Spend more time in the General Handbook and impressions will come. Help others to become true followers of Jesus Christ. Ask yourself - How to I help others? Look at quarterly reports.
"My success is measured by my commitment." I know the Lord is pleased when I feel the Spirit. Turn to the Lord for comfort.
Study the handbook to receive Revelation. Strengthening the Rising Generation. The Brethren are very concerned. Intentional parenting.
The adversary is now targeting children. We often lost them when they go from Primary to Young Men and Young Women's.
Living the gospel caring for those in need, inviting all to receive the gospel, and uniting families for eternity. Mosiah 26:1-4. The challenge of the Rising Generation. We need "all hands on deck" with Christ at the center.
Children who are most at risk are the ones who have no active Melchizedek priesthood holder in the home.
We need more moments of feeling the Spirit where their hearts are touched. Share you spiritual experiences with your children and grandchildren.
Break at 4:30. We invited Tamara to come with us. Kristy Thomas calls to talk to James. He stays in the car while we go in to Culver's and order our food. We all had cod with broccoli instead of fries. Tamara tells me and James when he comes, all about the murder trial where she was on the jury. She said the accused told 44 lies. They found him guilty of manslaughter.
The adult session of stake conference.
President Smithson - Priesthood is the power to bring people access to the Savior's Atonement. The gathering of scattered Israel.
Amber - Be kind and accepting of others. Pray, be friendly, sit by someone, teach children to be kind.
Kim Lewis Seaman - We here Jesus Christ in the temple.(Spoke very loud)
Pres. Seaman - "Sometimes she gets a little fiery, but I love that about her." The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the kingdom of God on earth.
President Beeler - I am grateful for Elder Haynie. Christ always lifts from a higher position. He always lifts towards Him. He comes to you wherever you are. We need to reach the point where obedience is not an irritant but a quest. Come as you are but don't plan to stay that way. Covenant relationships are a cure for everything. Horizontal component with the Vertical. Wards are a lab for Christian living. "Nobody ever sits alone here."
Elder Haynie - Why do we come to meetings? What have I learned? Satan is more prevalent. The Lord loves me personally. I bear witness that Jesus Christ will come again. He is involved in the details of our lives. Stand ye still and see the salvation of God.
On the way home from the meeting there was a huge full moon in the sky lighting the way. Back at home James and I watched a Hallmark Movies and Mysteries movie together starring Nikki DeLoach and Andrew Walker. It was called: "Curious Caterer: Dying for Chocolate."
Today President Nelson became the oldest president the Church has had. Today he is 97 years, 7 months, and 7 days.
James's friend Ron Smith who was
married to Veleda's daughter Rhonda
who passed away Feb. 14th. Ron passed
away March 16th.
