Jesus Christ, Messenger of the Covenant
John 5:36
But I have greater witness than that of John: for the works which the Father hath given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me.
Book of Mormon/"Come Follow Me"
3 Nephi 15 - Jesus announces that the law of Moses is fulfilled in Him - The Nephites are the other sheep of whom He spoke in Jerusalem - Because of iniquity, the Lord's people in Jerusalem do not know of the scattered sheep of Israel. About A.D. 34.

"The Finest Homes"

The attributes of Christ are acquired in the "process of time" by intentional progress along the covenant path. Christlike attributes adorn the lives of those who strive to live with goodness. They fill homes with gospel light, whether the floor is mud or marble. Even if you are the only one in your household who follows the injunction to "seek after these things," you can contribute to the spiritual furnishings of your family's home.

I woke up at 3:45 this morning and could not go back to sleep so I got out of bed and began my day. I was pretty tired by early afternoon.

James is still bugling for the elk but he did not have any answer today. It might be too warm or maybe because it is archery elk season they are all going back up on the mountain.

I spent a couple of hours washing my car this morning. It is so small that it is pretty easy to wash. I got cleaner for the tires and they looked so pretty and shiny when I was finished.

I picked up my friend Jean around 11:00 this morning and we went to lunch at Mountain Thai in Lakeside. We ordered #9, vegetable and noodle soup and then we sat out on the patio because the dining room was not open. Jean got shrimp and clear noodles with her soup and I got chicken and egg noodles with mine. We asked for a bottle of their sweet chili to put in our soup. I forgot how much I love this soup with the sweet chili. Like Jean says, it is quite addictive. Neither one of us could finish so we both took the rest home for dinner. It was a beautiful day to be sitting outside in the shade. We were right by the highway and heard all of the traffic, otherwise it would have been perfect.

Kim got the results of her MRI today. This is what she said when I texted her: Yes. Just talked to the neurologist. I have acute sinus disease. I have it on both sides but it is way worse on the left with 50% blockage. Some has calcified. I may need surgery, I hope not though. I told the doctor that I feel like I've had a sinus infection for a month and a half. He said that it has been much, much longer that that. But it also explains why my temples hurt, my head hurts, my ears hurt, the left sides is numb, etc. Seeing an ENT on Monday. Say prayers that I won't need surgery.

Luna raced the Razr up the hill this evening and she won. She has so much personality for a horse!

We sold some land in Deming. One of our renters has missed about 32 payments so we decided we needed to try and sell it. James knew someone who wanted to buy. This money will help him buy a new truck since the insurance money only wants to give him $9,000 to replace it.
