"Hear Him"
President Russell M. Nelson
While worshipping in the temple is presently not possible, I invite you to increase your participation in family history, including family history research and indexing. I promise that as you increase your time in temple and family history work, you will increase and improve your ability to hear Him.
I renew my plea for you to do whatever it takes to increase your spiritual capacity to receive personal revelation.

Today is my cousin Rita's 72nd birthday. I texted her to wish her a happy birthday and she texted me back this message:
Bill (her husband) died last night at 11:50, ten minutes before my birthday. We are so happy for him but sad for us. We're together as a family right now and telling stories about him. He was a character.

Bill fought a good fight. He had cancer twice and major bypass surgery and several stints put in. He had heart failure due to complications from a recent surgery he had. Rita said she would let me know when the funeral would be.

After getting the kids off to school I got ready and went over to Scottsdale to see Stacy at Lash Bomb. It is 33 miles away. I got to meet Stacy's friend Nikki and her boss Jill. Stacy gets along so well with both of them. Jill is training Stacy and Nikki and she stayed the entire time Stacy was doing my lashes and even did some of them for her so she could see how she works. I was there from 11:30 to 2.
I got home in time to pick up Ruby from school and Lola from the bus stop. Addy did not go to cross country practice today because of her allergies. She only had online school today. Yesterday she stayed home from school because of allergies.

Rowan and Ruby both had friends over this evening. Rowan's friend Nick and his sister Madison who is Ruby's friend was here. Another of Ruby's friends, Claire was also here. They were so nice to include Lola in their fun.

Addy had her first date this evening with a guy named Steven. His last name is Fairbanks. Addy  curled her hair and wore it down and she looked so cute. She did not want me to take a picture. This was a double date and they went to someone's house to make cookies and to play games.

Lola went to bed wishing she had a phone like Madison's because it has a pen to go with it. Ruby says Madison's phone cost between $800 - $1,000.

I took this picture on Monday morning
before school

Too lazy to go out in the heat so I took this
picture of Betty through the screened window.
Betty looks alot like Kim and Brian's car, Clyde.
