"To Heal The World"
Elder Ronald A. Rasband
Of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles
I witness that Russell M. Nelson is God's living prophet. I testify that Jesus Christ leads and guides this Church. He atoned for our sins, was crucified on a cross, and was resurrected on the third day.
Because of Him, we can live again for all eternity; and those who so desire can be with our Father in Heaven. This truth I proclaim to all the world. I am grateful for the freedom to do so. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
At 5:30 James and I had prayer before he and Greg left for Globe.
Happy Birthday Denise!
Denise said she loved the card we sent!
I started a new book that I listen to while I walk. It is called, "Engaging Emma." It is a modern-day book but is still a romance. So far I really like it.
Kacey and Rita both thanked me for their birthday cards. I am glad that they liked them.
I had a major snack attack this afternoon and had a big bowl of Dill Pickle potato chips. I can't buy these chips anymore as they are highly addictive. No more red licorce either. Not good for my health and they are binge foods.
My project, until I finish, is painting our bedroom. I am very slow and there is lots of taping to do. Don't know how I am going to reach the high ceilings. I hope James has a tall ladder. I may have to have him paint up high. I'm pretty wobbly on a ladder.
It started to rain this evening and was still raining when we went to bed around 11. I am so grateful for the rain.
It's 7:41 and James is still not home. A long day putting in cabinets. He got home a little before 8. After he ate some dinner, took a shower and did a little indexing we watched an episode of our favorite detective show, McBride.
