"When we invite the power of God into our lives, we can replace the 'spirit of heaviness' with inspired perspectives that lift others and make room for hearts to be healed.

Happy 92nd Birthday to my Mom! I love you Mom! And, Happy Birthday to my friend, Tamara! I think Tamara is 57.

James went with me to the Lakeside Cemetary to check out my Mom's grave to decide what kind of "flowers" to get.  We went back to town and while I was in Walmart shopping of course James went to Home Depot. James was going to go register his truck which he failed to register last year. When I went online to register it, it showed as 333 days overdue. James told me he would take his insurance card in to Show Low and he would register it. He forgot his insurance card, leaving it on the counter while he went to the bathroom before we left.  I guess he will have to come back another time because they won't register his truck without proof of insurance.

I noticed that at my mom's gravesite there were some containers put in the ground for flowers at the back of the concrete slab. I picked up some silk sunflowers with long stems at Walmart. When we were loading up the car I told him we should probably have some wire cutters to cut them off before we went back to the cemetery. He didn't want to go home and have to come back so he said, I think we can make them work. He did make them work. I didn't realize there were three containers in the front of the grave or I would have bought more flowers. I think they look ok though.

Charlie dressed appropriately:

When we got home and unloaded the groceries I was missing two candles, one for Tamara and one for Chelsea. I remembered as I was bagging our purchases they were the first bag and I set them aside. I must have forgotten to go back and load them in the basket. I was panicked because I wanted to go see Tamara this afternoon. James said he would go back and get the candles if I could run off an insurance card for him, which I did. He went back, got the candles, and registered his truck all in time for me to go see Tamara at the library before it closed at five.

While James was in town for the second time I decorated Tamara's cake and put her name on it. Don't ask me why I didn't take a picture because I don't know. I guess it's because I'm 74 years old and very forgetful and sometimes a little spacey. I also made Tamara a plaque of Luke 1:37, gave her a copy of the book, "The Peacegiver" and her candle scent was Farm Apple and it smelled delicious without even being lit.

I got to the library around 4:30. Tamara was visiting with someone and she introduced her to me. Her name was Emily, looked like she was in her 20's and is the director of the Shakespeare in the Park play, MacBeth that the junior high and high school kids in the area performed last week in the park. I heard it was outstanding I told her and Tamara, who had seen it, agreed that it was.

After Emily left I gave Tamara her gift bag and she seemed pleased with everything, including the flower card. She gave me a big hug before I left. I am grateful to have her as a friend and I am glad I could do something nice for her.

I am tired when I get home. I heat myself up some enchiladas and take a quick nap before it's time for Front Porch sunsethandholdingtime with James. I texted and called him but he didn't show up so I watched the sunset by myself this evening.
We had no rain today but it was 75 degress and we had some beautiful clouds.

Oh, I forgot to mention, Starlink contacted me and they are shipping our satellite within the next two weeks!

James was obsessed with this buck,
hence the reason he took so many pictures.

Our little herd of pronghorn antelope are back and we got some closeups of them as we were coming home from town on 3144.
Antelope are my favorite because they are so curious and will stand and look at you as you take their picture.

Christina's kids: Eden, Winter,
