"A House of Sequential Order"
Elder Vaiangina Sikahema
Of the Seventy
Elder David A. Bednar taught this principles: "As we study, learn, and live the gospel of Jesus Christ, sequence often is instructive. Consider, for example, the lessons we learn about spiritual priorities from the order of the major events that occurred as the fulness of the Savior's gospel was restored in these latter days."
Elder Bednar listed the First Vision and Moroni's initial appearance to Joseph Smith as teaching the boy prophet first, the nature and character of God, followed by the role the Book of Mormon and Elijah would play in gathering Israel on both sides of the veil in this last dispensation.
Elder Bednar concludes: "This inspiring sequence is instructive about the spiritual matters of highest priority to Deity".

Up at 5:15. Study, Pray, Plan.
Around 8:30 I sent a text to Stefani about riding to the meeting tonight. She informs me that President Beeler sent out a text cancelling the meeting until March 23rd because of today's forecast snow storm.

James goes out this morning to get some wood before it snows. He is complaining about internal pain all along the left side of his body. He needs to make an appointment with Dr. Memon, his heart doctor, as well as contact his G.I. doctor regarding his next colonoscopy.

This afternoon it started snowing and before too long the ground was covered.  There were big flakes falling down. This is the kind of snow that I like. Around 5 p.m. I was supposed to take a birthday card for Paula Johnson to Kerri's for her to sign. At 4:35 I got a text from Kerri: Karen, do not come. I texted her back and said, We will bring the truck and James will be driving. Leaving in about 20 minutes.

The truck is parked out in the snow. I ask James to pick me up on the front porch thinking I will avoid walking in the snow. To my surprise, the front porch is covered with snow. There is about 3-4 inches of snow on the ground and I am wondering why I didn't wear my cute little purple snow boots.

The world is beautiful when the trees and the ground and the mountains are covered with snow. When we get to Kerri's she runs out of her house and I roll the window down and she grabs the card from me. Our errands was done quickly and we return home.

This evening James made shrimp and noodles with veggies for dinner. I get coconut shrimp and James gets butterfly shrimp. It was a tasty meal.  I used some of the sweet chili sauce that my friend Jean Howard introduced me to on the noodles and it was yummy.

I vacuumed in the family and living areas, swept and mopped the kitchen floor this evening after dinner. I also blogged, finished my steps, and did some reading before James and I went to bed.
