Jesus Christ, Resurrection
Revelation 1:5
And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood.

"Pure Truth, Pure Doctrine, And Pure Revelation"
President Russell M. Nelson
President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
The pure doctrine of Christ is powerful. It changes the life of everyone who understands it and seeks to implement it in his or her life. The doctrine of Christ helps us find and stay on the covenant path. Staying on that narrow but well-defined path will ultimately qualify us to receive all that God has. Nothing could be worth more than all our Father has!
"The Greatest Possession"
Elder Jeffrey R. Holland
Of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles
"There were no robbers, nor murderers, neither were there Lamanites, nor any manner of -ites; but they were in one, the children of Christ, and heirs to the kingdom of God. And how blessed were they!"
What is the key to this breakthrough in contented, happy living? It is embedded there in the text in one sentence: "The love of God . . . did dwell in the hearts of the people." When the love of God sets the tone for our own lives, for our relationships to each other and ultimately our feeling for all humankind, then old distinctions, limiting labels, and artificial divisions begin to pass away, and peace increases.

"Becoming Better without Becoming Bitter"
*Difficult days refine us and cause us to turn to Him
*Covenants bind us to Him
*God is in the details of our lives
*Peace on the Covenant Path which leads to Jesus Christ
I got up at 3:47 and came into the bedroom to pay my credit card. The credit card is paid off. Now we need to pay our propane bill using the credit card. It is hard to catchup when the bills keep coming.
I am worried about my friend Ginger who moved to Alpine. She had a stroke and also has Covid. She is only 55 and now she says they think she needs a pacemaker. She wants me to send her uplifting scriptures and quotes which I have been trying to do along with praying for her and putting her name on the temple prayer roll.
James's back is really hurting so he didn't go with the other old guys to work at the Bowen's. He has been trying to schedule rebar and concrete for the hangar jobs but has been running in to all kinds of problems.
Everytime I think I've got all the gunk off the kitchen floor I find some more. I think it grows. I went over the floor with a mop with water and vinegar. I'm done for today.
I was going to make chili this morning for lunch but I just really wasn't feeling it. James said he would make lunch. He took the ground beef and made us a couple of burgers. They were delicious.
Thanks honey! I get so excited when someone else does the cooking.
After lunch James and I took a nap together on the couch. It was nice. Afterwards we walked and read from "The Noble Smuggler."
I also read from my other book about a guy who is sent to New South Wales to serve a prison sentence and ends up being a sheep farmer. New South Wales is Africa. They have bats the size of ravens and they kill them with boomerangs.
I took a bite of a baby cake after lunch and nearly choked to death. It was pretty serious for awhile but I survived. James was upstairs and had not a clue.
While I was indexing this evening James brought me dinner. Shrimp and veggies. Thanks honey! He also slept with me on the recliner. I really couldn't ask for a better partner!
We watched a GAC movie, "The Christmas Swith" and I had forgotten how funny it was. We both got a kick out of it. Sarah Lind plays both Kaelynn and her twin sister Sophia.
