2 Nephi 9:5 - Die
Yea, I know that ye know that in the body he shall show himself unto those at Jerusalem, from whence we came; for it is expedient that it should be among them; for it behooveth the great Creator that he suffereth himself to become subject unto man in the flesh, and die for all men, that all men might become subject unto him.

Becoming more home centered and Church supported.
Two years ago, President Russell M. Nelson said: "We have become accustomed to thinking of 'church' as something that happens in our meetinghouses, supported by what happens at home. We need an adjustment to this patter. . . . A home-centered Church, supported by what takes place inside our . . . buildings." What a prophetic adjustment! Home-centered gospel learning has been put into practice with the temporary closure of meetinghouses. Even as the world begins to normalize and we return to chapels, we will want to retain our home-centered patterns of gospel study and learning developed during the pandemic.

We affirm that under the direction of the Father and the Son, heavenly messengers came to instruct Joseph and re-establish the Church of Jesus Christ.
Tramadol and aspirin so I can sit, and then some muscle relaxer.
It is 14 degrees outside. Brrrr!
Luna was out this morning which means James still has work to do on the fence.
I made scalloped potatoes for lunch today because James mentioned that they sounded good. I used an old recipe I got from Trudy Lamb years ago. James said, "These aren't scalloped potatoes." I said, "What do you mean?" He said, "Scalloped potatoes are sliced and these are shredded." I then proceeded to look up the definition of scalloped potatoes on my phone:
Scalloped potatoes have been baked in a cream or cheese sauce.
James thought that the potatoes had to have a scalloped edge in order to be scalloped potatoes.
Chuck bladed the road with his tractor and James was able to dig his truck out and take the Razr in to town. He picked up the mail out of the car and we did get out new book, "Rocky Road." We started reading it today. Here is a synopsis:
It was supposed to be a girls' weekend in scenic St. George, Utah, that would include shopping, trying out the local cuisine, and participating in a breast cancer fund-raiser. The fact that one of the organizers of the fund-raising event, a local doctor, had disappeared two months before was not supposed to be Sadie Hoffmiller's problem.
When Sadie learns that her friend Caro and Caro's cousin, Tess, have started a grassroots investigation into Dr. Hendricks's disappearance, Sadie graciously refuses to be a part of it. With her wedding to plan and her most recent case still fresh in her mind, Sadie is determined to leave this case to the police - until she meets the ex-wife of the missing man.
How could she not ask a few questions . . . that lead to more questions . . . that lead to a small town and even more questions? When the local police ask her to be their eyes and ears, Sadie can't help but jump in with both feet. Before she knows it, she is on the rocky road of another investigation and following a convoluted trail of good intentions, hidden motivations, and philanthropy turned big business.
James shoveled "tons" (literally!) of snow today and was totally exhausted by bedtime.
Trina texted today and asked how we were doing. I told her we were coming down tomorrow and might want to stay at their house. She said that would be fine. Sheri also texted and wanted to know when we were coming because she wants to take us to lunch.
We got our Economic Impact Visa card today. I made a transfer into our bank account from the card, $1,200.
I indexed 235 names today for a monthly total of 1,175.
