'And the Lord called his people Zion, because they were of one heart and one mind, and dwelt in righteousness; and there was no poor among them.' (Moses 7:18.) . . .
"After the Lord called his people Zion, the scripture says that Enoch 'built a city that was called the City of Holiness, even Zion' that Zion 'was taken up into heaven' where 'God received it into his own bosom;" and that "from thence went forth the saying, Zion is fled.' (Moses 7:19, 21, 69.) . . .
"This same Zion which was taken up into heaven shall return . . . when the Lord brings again Zion, and its inhabitants shall join with the new Jerusalem, which shall then be established."

Restoration Proclamation
P1 S2
God the Father has given us the divine birth, the incomparable life, and the infinite atoning sacrifice of His Beloved Son, Jesus Christ.

The Living Christ
P2 S1
He was the Great Jehovah of the Old Testament, the Messiah of the New.

James left around 5 a.m for the valley. He has a concrete pour at the Konkle's at 8 a.m. Armando is in charge of the crew but the Konkle's want James to be there, so he will be. After he had been gone an hour or so he called me and said it was blizzard conditions until he got to the Y. He went very slow and could not see the road or the stop sign at the corner of Vernon road and the highway. At one point he said another car was coming right towards him so he had to move over and almost went off the road. At one point he ran off the road on the opposite side of the direction he was going. He passed a snow plow and he passed a car off the side of the road. The conditions were so bad that he was only going about 10 m.p.h. It took him an hour to get to Show Low. On Monday it took us 25 minutes. He did not think he was going to make it but when he got to Show Low everything was clear.

It snowed off and on all morning, and looked like a white out. When I went out to feed Luna around noon it took me about 30 minutes to bundle up. Stacy has my good coat so I used the jacket Jared brought back from his mission in Equador because it is very warm. I had a hat, a scarf, gloves, James's socks, and the purple snow boots Kim and Brian got me for Christmas a few years ago. Sorry, no selfies.
The snow was over a foot deep in some places. I had to go very slow so as not to lose my balance and fall over. Luna, of course, was waiting for me and tried to eat out of the bucket as I went through the fence. Silly girl. Her water was frozen but I guess she could eat snow. Maybe we should make her some snow ice cream. It was such a relief when I got back to the house!

I have been getting a slow start in the mornings and it puts me off my schedule for the rest of the day. Most days all I get done is indexing, blogging, and walking, some meal prep and laundry. One of my goals for the new year was to clean out closets and start giving stuff to Goodwill, but I haven't even started. Hopefully I will begin to feel better so I can do more.

I tried to make an appointment at AARA for my infusion and to see Dr. Kumar. I called they appointment desk and she said she would have the infusion center call me, but they never did. Very frustrating.

Cassie, Jean's granddaughter, texted me this afternoon and said her grandpa Tom's funeral would be on Monday, February 22nd. The viewing is at 10 a.m. and the funeral at 11. I tested Tamara to see if we were doing a luncheon but I never heard back.

I had a nice visit, via texting, with Sheri today. We decided that we want to go on a Church History roadtrip. I also told her about Luna being out in the snow and she said she was going to bring her boys up this summer to help build a barn. I told her a barn raising was a good idea and I would be in charge of the food. She wanted to come up for her birthday but says she is trying to save money so she will probably stay home and go on a hike.

Paul got another promotion at Amazon. Stacy said he is now in charge of the supervisors. Congratulations Paul!

James left for home around noon from the valley pulling the trailer with the Cat. He called me somewhere between 4 or 5 and said he got stuck on the corner of the Green's Peak road. He dug and pulled and got stuck another four times before getting up our hill. He finally made it to our drive but he got stuck again and will have to dig out before we can go anywhere. My little car is not going to come out of the garage until the snow is off the road.  I guess James's tires are too slick on the trailer and the truck. We need new tires for him and for me.

I made a delicious salad for dinner. It's called an apple, cranberry, walnut salad with romaine lettuce, bacon, feta cheese, apples, dried cranberries, walnuts and poppy seed dressing. James and I both liked it and it will definitely go in my family favorites file!

James was supposed to bring us mixed green burros from Burger House but when he called to order they never answered. He thought it was Monday and they are closed on Monday so he didn't even bother to stop or see if they were open when he went by. I had to remind him that it was not Monday but Tuesday but my reminder was a little too late and a moot point.

This evening we watched the new Crossword Mysteries episode on Hallmark Movies and Mysteries, starring Lacey Chabert, Brennan Elliott and Barbara Niven. This episode was called "Terminal Descent." The owner of a hi-tech company was killed in an elevator 30 - story freefall. Of course Tess and Logan solve the case.

My indexing total is now at 2,982 for February.

This was a video but since I don't know how to put
videos on this blog I'm using still shots.

Uh-oh, hit a snowbank

Crash and burn

She laughs and giggles when she falls and
then says: "I make a snow angel."

These pictures from Autumn of her and Scarlett
were sent to me in an email. I just figured out how to
get them in my photo album and put them on my blog.

So grateful to have these photos!
