Of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles
God's love for all people is affirmed throughout scripture. That love encompasses the Abrahamic covenant, gathering His scattered children, and His plan of happiness in our lives.
In the household of faith there are to be no strangers, no foreigners, no rich and poor, no outside "others." As "fellowcitizens with the saints," we are invited to change the world for the better, from the inside out, one person, one family, one neighborhood at a time. This happens when we live and share the gospel.

It teaches of life's purpose and explains the doctrine of Christ, which is central to that purpose.
We got another message from Quicken that our home owners insurance did not renew and that we needed to provide them with our policy or they would buy us insurance that would cover less and be more costly. James just went over all this with an agent a work or so ago and Liberty Mutual said they would take care of it. He asked me if I would see what was going on. I called and spoke to Linda at Liberty Mutual and told her the problem. She said the policy was sent to Quicken at an address in Amelia, Ohio. She saw that we had an auto and homeowners policy with them and said we were not getting the bundled rate. She did some figuring and when she got back to me she said she had saved us $289 a year. I thanked her and said I would contact Quicken and tell them what she had told me.
I called and spoke to Aaron at Quicken and told him the address where the policy was sent. He said that was the wrong address. It should have been sent to Florence, South Carolina. While I was holding he called and contacted Liberty Mutual and gave them the new address. It was as simple as that. Hopefully this will solve the problem!
I listened to "Book of Mormon Central" today as part of my "Come Follow Me" studies.
James had a discouraging day. First of all, his houses in Mesa did not pass inspection. He sent $800 to Armondo on Saturday to pay guys to dig out the trenches. I guess they didn't do enough because that is why the inspections didn't pass.
Also, the welder broke down. The welder belongs to Pierce and he is going over tomorrow to see if Pierce can fix it.
Tonight at our Relief Society Presidency meeting we stuffed the gift bags for the sisters in our ward. I had the 74 bags all set up and ready to go and set the contents on chairs pushed out from the dining room table. The only thing I didn't finish was rolling and tying the "Symbols of Christmas" papers. Maxine helped me while Tamara and Kerri worked on addresses for Christmas cards we are sending to the new sisters and sister we think might need them.
It was a fun evening and we accomplished our goals. Tamara and he Mac Wagon transported the bags to her car and she took them down to the church and put them in the Relief Society cabinets until Sunday when we will begin handing them out.
I made chicken taco soup for James's dinner. I felt bad afterwards that I didn't offer any to Tamara, Maxine, or Kerri. I apologized and Tamara and Maxine both thanked me for all I did for the gift bags. Neither of them seemed offended but I felt so bad I had to apologize.
Artem is a dancer on "DWTS"
