'The Culture of Christ'
Elder William K. Jackson
Of the Seventy
In most man-made cultures, there is found both good and bad, constructive and destructive.
Many of our world's problems are a direct result of clashes between those of differing ideas and customs arising from their culture. But virtually all conflict and chaos would quickly fade if the world would only accept its original culture, the one we all possessed not so very long ago. This culture dates back to our premortal existence. It was the culture of Adam and Enoch. It was the culture founded on the Savior's teachings in the meridian of time, and it is available to all women and men once again in our day. It is unique. It is the greatest of all cultures and comes from the great plan of happiness, authored by God and championed by Christ. It unites rather than divides. It heals rather than harms.

We declare that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, organized on April 6, 1830, is Christ's New Testament Church restored.
I got so frustrated with my computer this morning trying to download pictures for my blog. I finally figured out how to make it work but I left afterwards and never came back.
I visited Chelsea, my neighbor, and took her the gift from the Relief Society. We had a nice visit and I took a picture of her Christmas tree:
Chelsea and her husband have two little girls, Peyton who is 5, and Scotland who is 2. They love their "Grinch" tree. She said she wants them to learn that Christmas is also about giving so they are doing the angel tree where you by a gift for a child. I really like Chelsea and I'm so grateful to be her ministering sister. I love her St. Bernard Brutus too!
After Chelsea's I went to the post office and then to Dollar General to get December birthday cards and an Amazon gift card for Ben's birthday on the 16th. Later this afternoon I went to visit my friend Catherine. I am also her ministering sister and I took her a gift bag from the Relief Society. Here is a picture of Catherine's tree and a gift that she gave me:
James and I went to town to get something for dinner at Taco Bell. We each got a burrito supreme and a crunch taco. A fun little Friday night date.
Tonight James and I watched "Inn Love for Christmas" a Lifetime movie. James kept complaining about his eye hurting. He thinks he was hit by a welding spark.
Trina texted and asked if we were still coming down even though our family Christmas party was cancelled. I told her the party was not cancelled that Stacy's family was the only ones not coming. I guess she misunderstood.
