Anthony and James worked on the fence early this morning. I made James some banana nut bread to share with Anthony. I texted him when it was out of the oven and cooled down enough to take out of the pan. They came in and each of them had a glass of cold water and sat down to their warm slice of banana bread. I think Anthony maybe took one bite and hurried to the bathroom where we could hear him throwing up. I hope it wasn't my bread that made him sick. He looked rather pale when he came out of the bathroom and I invited him to lie down on the couch but he declined. He said he had a pain in his lower chest. James was going to take him to the hospital but Anthony didn't want to go. He stood up and walked around because every time he tried to sit down it made the pain worse. He finally apologized for not eating the banana bread and excused himself to go home. He said he has not been eating very much. It does look like he has lost quite a bit of weight. He thought maybe he was low on electrolytes. I told him I was worried about him and to let us know when he got home. He did.
I have sold several books this week and have made a total of about $132 since Monday. That is encouraging what with all of the trouble I have been having with stranded books. My previously stranded books are out and now my new shipment is listed as stranded. Will this never end?
We started a new Aunt Dimity book today, "Aunt Dimity and the Widow's Curse." This one took a weird twist and became a murder mystery. Annabelle Craven is an older citizen in Finch, the small English village where Lori Shepherd lives. She is a quilter and needs help with a quilt she wants to donate to the church fete. The quilt is almost finished and Lori and Annabelle are working on it by themselves. Annabelle tells Lori she was married twice, the first time when she was only 17. He husband was a drunk, a cheat, and a liar. She said the marriage did not last long. Lori asks if she got a divorce and she says oh no, that's too expensive, I murdered him and buried him in the rose garden. The roses thrived after that." Lori, after talking to Aunt Dimity, sets out on a journey to find out what really happened to Annabelle's first husband.
Kim and Brian arrived around 7:30 this evening. I told them there was no scheduled rain this week. They said they knew but they wanted to come anyway. It was 118 in the valley today. No wonder they wanted to come!
We had a nice visit with our company before going to bed. Kim was saying how the Book of Mormon is a patter for the Second Coming of the Savior. She said I wonder who Captain Moroni is...I think it could be Tim Ballard. Today is Human Trafficking Awareness Day. There were rallies in Utah and Arizona and throughout the United States. Emily B.F. was helping Tim Ballard with the rally in Utah. She says he is a dear friend.
