"A Living Witness of the Living Christ"
Bishop Gerald Causse
Through His Atonement, Jesus Christ not only washes away our sins, but He also provides enabling power through which His disciples may "put off the natural man," progress "line upon line," and increase in holiness so that one day they might become perfect beings in the image of Christ, qualified to live again with God and inherit all the blessings of the kingdom of heaven.

Inklings

I texted Rowan this morning wishing him a Happy Birthday. It is so hard to believe that he, Joshua, and Evan will all turn 14 this year. Where does the time go?

Everything Trina says about Rowan is true.
He is one of the kindest young men I have ever met.
If we forget to say a blessing on the food, you can see him
with his arms folded and eyes closed, saying his own prayer.
He is a great brother to his sisters and is always willing to help his grandpa when he comes to visit. We love you Rowan!

I worked on my blog and bought four books this morning. After lunch James and I went to town. We went in the truck because James wanted to get some hay as well as some horse feed. James dropped me off at Walmart while he went back to Tractor Supply to get the horse feed.

I had to go to Walmart to get an ink cartridge for the printer. We are out of ink and the new cartridge is on it's way but didn't arrive today. I have two books I sold merchant fulfilled that I need to mail and I can't print labels without ink. I also bought a birthday card for Andy Wilhelm. James was on his way to pick me up but I told him I would just walk to Home Depot and meet him there.

We went to the garden section and I picked out some purple and white petunias for the front planters on the porch, and some dark purple petunias and another type of purple flowering plant for the back containers on the back patio. We bought four bags of potting soil and $10 a bag and James bought 4-5 bags of steer manure for the grass. Now we don't have enough room to go get hay for Luna. I guess it's a good thing we have been letting her out to graze.

We stopped at Taco Bell on the way home for dinner. We also went to the bank to deposit a check James received from the City of Chandler, and to get three twenty dollar bills to put in cards.

Back at home I got my books ready to mail and also wrapped Joshua's birthday present for James to take with him to the valley tomorrow. I then went out on the back patio and began planting my flowers. I need to get more flowers because I miscounted the pots that need to be filled. Back to Home Depot soon as Walmart has closed the gardening section, at least for the time being.

James cleaned the pinecones off the grass and spread the steer manure. He also went for a ride on Luna this evening.

We love Monday's because that is the day we get to hear from our missionary. It seems he is doing well in spite of restrictions.
