"Fulfillment Of Prophecy"

Of great significance for the whole Church is the prophecy of Isaiah, given more than 700 years before the birth of Jesus Christ: "And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, ... and all nations shall flow unto it.."
There was so much smoke in the air this morning from a fire in New Mexico that the sun looked pink. I took a picture.
I got my two week Amazon payment today in the amount of $397.30. I still have a balance of $617.87 at Amazon. Textbook season has begun!
I finished getting my last book shipment ready to mail. James took it to town after lunch. I made tacos for lunch using my new taco tongs which work so well!
While James was gone I got a text from Tanna, the girl James and I minister to who is pregnant. She said she is going in to be induced tomorrow and will have the baby sometime this weekend. I told her I had a gift card to send her and she gave me her address. This is her first baby.
Seven missionaries came to help this morning, two of them sisters.
He asked if I could make some refreshments for them tomorrow so I made some chocolate chip cookies.
Jared and I discovered that Anna and Jenifer's daughter Betty will be going to the same school, Texas University at San Marcos.
Joe had his court sentencing today. This is what he got:
2 days jail time (down from 45). He will go in on September 16th.
He will be at county jail, but not in with the violent criminals. He will be in the drunk tank basically.
7 days house arrest (down from 13).
1 year breathalyzer on his car.
Mandatory treatment class. The one he already took should count.
Lots of fees.
Not listed as a felony. He can work to get it expunged from his record.
That last sentence is the best news of all. I know everyone is relieved that it is finally over. Well at least the sentencing anyway.
