Jesus Christ, Only Begotten Son
Alma 13:9
Thus they become high priests forever, after the order of the Son, the Only Begotten of the Father, who is without beginning of days or end of years, who is full of grace, equity, and truth. And thus it is. Amen.

'Love Your Enemies'
President Dallin H. Oaks
First Counselor in the First Presidency
Loyalty to established law instead of temporary "allies" is the best way to love our adversaries and our enemies as we seek unity in diversity.
Knowing that we are all children of God gives us a divine vision of the worth of all others and the will and ability to rise above prejudice and racism. As I have lived for many years in different places in this nation, the Lord has taught me that it is possible to obey and seek to improve our nation's laws and also to love our adversaries and our enemies. While not easy, it is possible with the help of our Lord, Jesus Christ. He gave this command to love, and He promises His help as we seek to obey it. I testify that we are loved and will be helped by our Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
P6 S3
Jesus Christ has once again called Apostles and has given them priesthood authority.
The Living Christ
P6 S1
Of the Living Christ, the Prophet Joseph wrote: "His eyes were as a flame of fire; the hair of his head was white like the pure snow; his countenance shone above the brightness of the sun; and his voice was as the sound of the rushing of great waters, even the voice of Jehovah, saying:
"I am the first and the last; I am he who liveth, I am he who was slain; I am your advocate with the Father" (D&C 110:3-4).
James and I both got up at 7:00 complaining of our ailments. They always seem worse in the morning. After finding the Paint Pony, James asked if he could use my computer for an hour. I said yes. I had breakfast, prayed, and walked until it was my turn on the computer.
For my morning snack I had a salted caramel Built bar. It was good but not as good as the peanut butter brownie one I had yesterday.
As I was listening to Dave and Emily on "Don't Miss This" they kept repeating this phrase: "By the will of God the Father, and through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ."
I listened to a talk today by Elder D. Todd Christofferson, "Born Again." He has another talk called "Justification and Sanctification"
that I want to read to more fully understand the terms, justification and sanctification.
I began listening to "Book of Mormon Central, Come Follow Me."
Anthony Sweat was a guest and he and Tyler did most of the teaching. Brother Sweat called Doctrine and Covenants 20, the Constitution of the Church and said there were three major topics of this section; History, Doctrine, and Practices.
The Elders Quorum Presidency and the Relief Society Presidency are meeting with our high councilman, Brother Wright, tomorrow morning at 8 a.m. We have been asked to read the following from the Handbook regarding our responsibilities in family history: 25.2.1 and
25.2.2.
I blogged and did some indexing this afternoon and then James and I did a little window washing. Maybe if we wash a couple of windows every Saturday we will get them done before summer. I washed the inside of the kitchen window and cleaned the dust off the blinds while James did the outside. Next we moved to the entry way windows. I'm afraid one of the screens got bent and James threw it away. James also cleaned the front door panel. I wanted to do a couple of more but James was ready to quit. He also worked on the fence today.
For dinner I had a bacon, lettuce, tomato sandwich with avocado and James had a ham sandwich with the same. We also had some baked beans. After our meal we started our fast.
This evening we walked and watched the newest Hallmark movie, "Fit for a Prince." I think James would have rather watched, "Anne with an E."
