Up at 4:30. I did well this morning. I also made Darrel and James omelets. Darrel loved his. James said he didn't like the poblano pepper. Ruby and Lola had rolls from last night with strawberry jam and butter on them.

Darrel, Trina, and Ruby all either went on a walk or run this morning. Trina doesn't run anymore, but she does walk. When she gets back she makes the two of us a mug of Perk hot chocolate and we sit on the front porch and enjoy the nice weather. Darrel and the girls wanted to join us so I brought the two chairs from the deck out on the porch. We spent the morning at home just relaxing. Darrel, Lola and Ruby are doing one of the Ben-Ben puzzles. They like it as much as I do because of the letters on the back which divide it into sections.

Trina and I left to go shopping around 1pm. We headed for Lamell Lewis's in Linden at 1253 Lone Pine Dam Rd. just down from Dennis and Harold's.

On my word. It feels like Sanford & Sons junkyard. Lamell is the brother of Eb Lewis my former bishop and stake president. Eb had an antique store in Show Low where my mom and I use to spend hours just wandering around looking at things. Lamell said he worked for Eb back in those days.

I must say Lamell has a little bit of everything and it is quite organized. He seems to know where everything is. We met his wife Connie who helps him with the business. They are very nice people.

Trina and I wander around for awhile. I am looking for a chair to go at the head of our dining room table. Trina suggest I might get two, one for each end of the table. I see a couple that might work and take a picture. The only thing I bought was a small cast iron skillet to cook omelets in. Trina bought some paddles or oars to hang as decorations upstairs in their common area. She also bought a Pyrex casserole dish. It was quite an adventure, one you almost have to experience for yourself.

Before leaving Linden we stopped at the DG Market, just to see what it was like. It was so nice and clean and had a nice selection of groceries including produce. Lots of other things too. I bought a pair of house slippers and a heart shaped glass box to put jewelry in. Trina bought tomatoes for the burgers we will be having tonight.

It started to rain as we left the market and before we got to Show Low it was a downpour! It rained on us all of the way in to Lakeside.
Darrel called Trina. He took the girls into town and they stopped at the Red Barn Creamery for ice cream. It's right next door to The House where we ate with Jared, Kacey, and Charlie when they were here.

We went to the Red Door Consignment shop in Lakeside. So different from the experience at Lewis's. This place is so nice and has so many cute things. They have so many of the cute purses with the animals on them like Kacey and Autumn have. I found a chair that I think, and so does Trina, will look really nice in our dining area. I bought it for $65. I think the only thing Trina bought was some cookies but she tempted by some of the artwork and other items.

We headed back to Vernon the back way by the Wallace's. It looks like Vernon didn't get any rain.

We had smash burgers cooked by Darrel, and veggies for dinner. Afterwards I began making a banana pudding which I thought would be for dessert until I read that it has to be in the refrigerator for 8 hours. I told Darrel & Trina and so they made smores with the girls out in the firepit.

When I was finished with the pudding and had cleaned the kitchen we all sat down to watch, "Villa Amore" starring Eloise Mumford and Kevin McGarry. It's my favorite Hallmark flavor of the month.

James worked on the Crane's pump house roof again today and was very tired when he got home. He went to be before the movie was over.

In other news, Sheri called and said Shayna broke up with Alex saying she wanted different things right now. Whatever that means. She said it was hard for him at first but he is doing better now. He is looking for a different place to live.
