Up at 5. I hurt so bad. I have banana pudding, milk, Tylenol and Tramadol for breakfast. James helped me put the roast in the crockpot for dinner tonight. We are feeding the missionaries. My right hand hurts so much, I can't do anything with it. James also made the bed, rubbed heat rub on my feet, hand and neck. He was so sweet. We had prayer, BM, & CFM before he left for work. He is helping Jeff and his son Easton put roofing paper on the pump house in case it rains.

Everyone like the banana pudding I made. James said it was the best he's ever had. Ruby and Lola had it for breakfast. Darrel wants the recipe.
Banana pudding for breakfast

Yesterday Darrel, Ruby and Lola did the U.S. Destinations puzzle. Today they did the World Destinations. There was a missing piece and the girls couldn't find it. Darrel walked passed Trina and I in the dining area and Trina said, "Is that a bandage on your arm?" Darrel looked, and lo and behold, it was the missing puzzle piece. We all had a good laugh.

I mentioned to Darrel and Trina that we were going to the Farmington, New Mexico temple open house on August 1st and asked if they wanted to go with us. Darrel said he had to work and then said, but we want to move there. I was surprised. Darrel said he has a friend who is a pharmacist who moved there and works at the Shiprock Hospital. He got a $100,000 towards paying off his student loans and Darrel wants to do the same thing. He has a phone interview next Tuesday. Of course Lola and Ruby are not happy but I told them what happened to me when I moved to Show Low from Phoenix in the 7th grade. I cried and cried and for the longest time I didn't like it. I told them it turned out to be one of the best things that ever happened to me. I had so many LDS friends and I met Grampa. If I had stayed in Phoenix I would have gone to Phoenix Union High School which was in downtown Phoenix. Collin DeWitt went there and he was bullied constantly by the black kids. I fit right in at Snowflake Union High School, a small school where we were friends with most of the people in our class. It was great. I'm not sure I convinced them they wanted to move but I gave them something to think about.

I made pulled pork tacos for everyone for lunch. James didn't get home until about 2 just when Darrel, Trina and the girls were leaving for home.

I love these four people!
I love him too!

There was a short cloud burst just as James went back to work. Tom naps with me on the family room recliner now that our company is gone.

We had to send the elders detailed instructions on how to get to our house. These elders are both new, Elder Clark from Kaysville, Utah and Elder Perkins from Illinois. For dinner we had roast, carrots, potatoes, green beans and rolls. The elders seem to enjoy the meal, especially Elder Clark. When he gets home from his mission he is going to play football at Snow college in Ephriam, Utah. Elder Perkins says he is going to a trade school.

For dessert we had banana pudding. There was no food left on anyone's plate which made me feel good. Elder Perkins did a demonstration about binding covenants using two Books of Mormon. He flipped the pages of each book until they were intertwined together to show how covenants bind us to Christ. It was really neat. We enjoyed our time with them and they issued us a challenge before leaving. They asked us to pray about someone to fellowship. I told them we had invited an inactive family to a BBQ next Thursday. I am the sisters ministering sister and James is the family's minister brother. I said we would pray to see if there was someone else the Lord wanted us to work with also. Elder Clark was wondering if they could come by next week when the MacArthur's are here. I said I would check with them but I was pretty sure they could just plan on coming to dinner. I sent the elders home with a bag of rolls.

Elder Perkins is the tall one on the left
and Elder Clark is on the right.

My cornhole game and first aid kit were delivered today. Oh happy day. James hurt his leg and back today but in spite of his injuries he helped to clean the kitchen.

I bought eggs from Kathy Crane today. Her grandkids Elden and Catalina delivered them. I also bought tickets for Pat Tedder and I to go see the movie "How To Train Your Dragon" next Tuesday, and scheduled a trip to the temple with Pat on Tuesday, the 29th.
