We are grateful for your patience and devoted service during this changing and challenging period. I pray that your desire to worship and serve in the temple burns more brightly now than ever.
Even here at the timeshare James brought me my bowl of oatmeal for breakfast. Today I did what I do most every day at home: studied the gospel, blogged, and indexed. I also bills that are due on the first week of the month.
James picked us up some lunch from Pei Wei. I ordered the spicy chicken salad but he came back with a different chicken salad and I was very disappointed. I did eat some Mongolian beef and noodles that James bought for himself. Luckily I wasn't too hungry. Next time I will be getting the Mongolian beef.
Naptime and then James left to look at a job in Sun City. I took a shower and continued to work on my computer, finishing my blogpost for Sunday. When James returned I paid bills. A little after five we left to go to Cheesecake Factory for dinner. It's five minutes away from the resort. It was so busy. We had reserved a table but having a reservation does not guarantee faster service. We found this out the hard way. We got a table facing the bar and a table facing a couple with their two children. There was a bottle of wine on the table and the couple emptied the bottle. We were wondering which of them was driving home. When the wife ordered another drink of wine we decided the husband must be driving. While the wife was drinking her wine the two kids each had a piece of cheesecake. I guess people watching is one of my hobbies.
I ordered the beet and avocado salad and the crab bite appetizers. The portions were small but both were delicious. James got the chicken madeira with mashed potatoes and asparagus. The mashed potatoes were amazing! For dessert we shared a piece of mango-lime cheesecake. We decided that even though the atmosphere was lacking, the food was very satisfying and delicious.
I googled a Barnes and Noble near me on my phone and it gave directions to Desert Ridge mall. We went there and I bought two puzzles, one for the girls and I to do, and one for Kim. She's watching the girls on Wednesday while I get my infusion and James gets his MRI. Here are the puzzles I bought:
Kim's has 1500 pieces, mine has 500.
500 is about my limit.
On the way home we stopped at Fry's on north Hayden Rd.
It's one of the only times we shopped at Fry's and didn't get cranberry celebration. James did pick out a watermelon and a cantaloupe.
Back at home I walked inside the condo and James walked outside.
Today is our only day of being alone together. The rest of the week will be spent with grandkids.
