This picture was taken at Fossil Springs by Bryce and Alexis Case
on their anniversary.  I am amazed that this place is in Arizona!
After morning prayers and scriptures and listening to two conference talks I cleaned the bathroom before going to Max's football game.
Max plays both offense as tight end,
and defense as a linebacker.
 Max, #16!
It was 110 degrees and my makeup was melting off my face!
Thanks to Ian for letting me use his  umbrella
We had to leave the game before it was over to make sure the house was ready for our "open house."
Gordon Bueler's son is also on Max's team.
Thanks to Ian for the pictures!
Jared Ammon has been staying at the house the last few days.  He swept outside, but I had to finish up.  The Open House started at 1pm.  James and I went to see the movie, The Man from U.N.C.L.E. Napoleon Solo and Illya Keriaken were much better looking than the ones I used to watch on TV as a kid.
When we got back home we took a nap and then began to get ready to go to Joe's SoZo concert.  I had to take a shower because I was so sweaty from the football game this morning.
We went to Taco Bell for dinner and I read to James from "The Lady of Milkborn Manor."
Joe's concert was awesome!  He wrote many of the songs himself.
 Joe calls himself
"Super Motel"
I got this picture, but James actually took videos on his phone of
Joe singing.  I think he is a big fan!

What can I say?
Adorable!

This morning I went to Peixoto Coffee Shop in downtown Chandler for breakfast.  I brought back three chocolate croissants, one for James, Sheri, and myself.  Sheri loved hers.  James wasn't a big fan, and I thought they needed more chocolate.  The croissants were made by Proof Bread and I follow them on Instagram.

This boy had a football game today.  He made two tackles!
Max is awesome!
Joshua and Evan had a soccer game:

Joshua throws in the ball
Evan controls the ball
Joshua getting ready to kick.
Quick before it goes out of bounds!

While the boys were out getting some exercise, this is what Holly was doing.

Living the good life,
sleeping and T.V.

I felt bad for James this morning.  He was tackling the storage shed by himself.  Alex and Seth were supposed to help but they went camping and fishing instead.  I went out to help him for a couple of hours until Stacy and Paul's family came to the rescue.  This is such a big job I doubt that they will finish today.

James also put a new outside door on the carport entrance.  This was has no window and it is so different from the other one that it is going to take some time to get use to.

This afternoon around 2pm James and I started our fast.  We are fasting for family needs.  Sometimes it's hard to fast on Saturday afternoon and evening but tomorrow as soon as we get home from church we will break our fast and eat.

This afternoon and evening I listened to lecture two of my Constitution 101 class and did some catchup reading.  I also did some preparation for tomorrow's Primary lesson.

Jared Ammon was here most of the late afternoon and evening.  It's always nice to see him.

James worked hard all day long and was exhausted this evening.  I read him a bedtime story before going to bed.

James had a meeting with Francisco this morning at Lake Park Village.  The job starts Monday and since Francisco will be starting before James gets there James wanted to make sure he knew what needed to be done.  There are still some delays with the Hatch Hanger job thanks to new regulations by the city of Chandler.  They always like to make things difficult.  James will also be doing a job for Rick at Chandler Auto Body when he finsihes the job at Lake Park Village.

James and I went to Evan and Rowan's soccer game this morning.  They play for the orange lasers.
Grandpa and Ruby "watching the soccer game."
At one point Ruby said: "Oh grampa, let's go sit by gramma, she looks lonely."  Thanks Ruby for thinking of me.
Ruby and Grampa at the end of the tunnel for
the boys to run through.
After the game we said goodbye to Ruby, Rowan, Darrel, Trina, Evan and Sheri, and James and I headed to Elmer's for lunch.  We love their machaca burros.  After lunch we went home, packed everything up, picked up Sheri and Evan and headed to Max's flag football game way out at Payne Jr. High on Riggs and Higley.  Max plays for the Saints, and they are awesome.  Max made a touchdown and scored an extra point.  The final score was Saints 33, Steelers 7.

We drove home the Globe way and I slept most of the way home.  We got home around 5:30, unload the truck and put some things away before watching Sherlock.  James fixed coleslaw and beans for dinner.  It always feels good to be home.

First real order of business for the day was to attend Case Lueck's baptism. Case is Max's best church and football friend so of course Sheri, Max and Evan were there too. After the baptism and confirmation Max went up and gave case a big hug.
At noon we went to Case and Max's and Braden Wanlass's flag football game. During fall ball this team was unbeatable and came home with the first place trophy. This season the schedule is a little tougher and they lost for the third time, this time 26-0. We are playing older guys and we are a young team. Max is the oldest on the team, and I might add one of the best players. That kid can run.
I went for my walk this morning to Walmart. That makes the 5th time this week. The nice weather makes it so much more doable. While I was there I bought the ingredients to make James two Eagle Brand lemon pies for his birthday. It's the only thing that he asked for.
James and I were going to use some of our movie passes we got for Christmas to go see the movie "We Bought A Zoo" this evening, but the theater was already 65% full and the guy said we would probably have to sit in the front. I refused and said we would come back on Monday when it wasn't quite so busy. Everybody that I know that has seen this movie has said it was great, including Michael and Alex. Speaking of Michael and Alex, I took them and Joe and dropped them off at the mall this evening. As they were leaving my car I shouted "Return With Honor."
