James left at 5:20 for his high council meeting in Show Low.  He was back by 7:40.  His meeting let out early because the stake presidency had to be at our ward council meeting at 7:30.  I was resting on the couch when James got home, planing on getting up and getting ready for church at 8am.  When 8am arrived I felt so miserable that the thought of getting ready for church just overwhelmed me so I went to bed instead.  I slept until after noon when James got home.  He gave me a brief report of ward conference and said it was one of the best he's ever attended.  I asked him to take notes for me and he did, of all three meetings!

We had lunch and took a nap.  I was feeling a little better after my second nap of the day.
James had asked his home teaching companion, Westin Hall, to make appointment with the Hunsaker's and Peeler's this afternoon but Westin forgot so James went by himself after the Book of Mormon class.

I finally made James's Eagle Brand birthday pie.  We had it for dessert after our grilled honey-lime chicken with rice and corn.

Happy 86th birthday to James's mom Lois.  I call her Super Mom because she really is.
Lois with her great grandson Jackson Allen.

I found out today that I forgot to pay one of the concrete invoices for the Desert Highland job which was done in July.  Today I had to write a check to Ft. McDowell Material for $3,227.48.  I don't know how I missed this invoice.

We decided today that we would take the investors offer on the house.  During the 10 day inspection period allowed the buyer we will continue to try to sell.

This morning I read Crossfire Trail and from 1st Nephi with James.  For lunch we had homemade chili and cornbread.

James had his boot off most of the day and his foot wasn't as swollen tonight.

I had a meeting with Diana Curtis this evening at 5.  She has been called to head up indexing with the young women.  She wants me to be her assistant.  We will serve for 5 months and will have 5 indexers who will serve for 45 days.  We are going to call four young women and James.

During presidency meeting I was assigned to be in charge of the steak dinner for our Young Women in Excellence on November 13th.  We are planning on 50 people.  Yikes!!

We welcomed Alice Wilhelm into Young Women's  I gave the girls their handouts to encourage them to watch General Conference.

I picked up Maddie for Young Women's.  She made brownies to share with the other girls.  The Young Women had scheduled to play volleyball tonight.
The Young Men joined us.

I chased cows for the first time in weeks today.

Here are some pictures I took off Facebook.

More rain.

I wash my car because I have a visiting teaching appointment with Linda Diewald this morning.  I get it all washed and then she calls and says her daughter and her family came in unexpectedly so she is going to have to cancel.  Oh well, at least I have a clean car.

We were expecting to receive money from Zaki this week but it didn't happen.  James needs to talk to Tiffany Gonzales at Johnson Bank regarding Zaki's funds but he has not been able to reach her, so he wrote her a letter.  Zaki said that Ariana is filing for divorce and for that reason the funds for the house may be frozen.  Let's hope not. Thank goodness Jeff from National Turf said our check for Desert Highlands went out!!

We went in to town to mail the letter James wrote to Tiffany and of course when we returned my car was covered with mud.  The mud was so packed on the tires and in the wheel wells I thought I better wash it off before it dried, so I washed my car for the second time today.

I finished cleaning upstairs and also cleaned the kitchen, the frig and mopped the floor. Sheri, Ian, Kim and Brian are all coming up this evening.  Sheri and Ian came the Globe way and Kim and Brian of course went through Payson.  We are so excited to have them visit!!

In other news, Trina posted this picture of Ruby and Kreed today on Facebook.
Best friends!
