I am excited, and happy, looking forward to Darrel's family coming today.

The boys played a game of Hearts before they left. Joe won this round, running it twice.

After Hearts Alex, Joe and James brought the ping pong table downstairs. It took some effort and once the table dropped on Joe's foot and we thought maybe he broke it, but he said he was okay.

The table is now out on the patio by the backporch where people can play and not have to chase the ball so far.

Hearts

Goodbye boys, glad you came, it was
a pleasure, come again soon!

Just as the boys were leaving I cooked a package of sausages and sent some with them. James and I ate the rest. A short lunch and rest and then some cleaning and changing of sheets. Darrel's family is on their way.

I vacuumed in the family and living room and cleaned the dust off the floor. I put some beeswax on the dining room table and left it bare. I mopped the kitchen floor and somewhat cleaned out the frig making room for Darrel and Trina's stuff. I disinfected the counters and then went upstairs and  put clean sheets on the beds and cleaned the floor  where the ping pong table was, and moved the little kids table and set Raggedy Ann and Teddy up for a tea party.

My work was done just before they arrived. Of course the first thing everyone wanted to do was go see Luna. The kids fed her carrots and then everyone went for a ride.

I think you could say they all loved Luna!

After horsey rides we came in and fixed some dinner. James warmed up our leftover chili, mashed potatoes and asparagus and Darrel made burgers and hotdogs.

We played Buzzword. James and I were allowed to help both teams; Trina and Ruby and Rowan against Darrel and Addy.
I forgot what a fun game Buzzword is!

All ready for Memorial Day weekend!
