A Home Where the Spirit of the Lord Dwells

"My purpose today is to teach what I know of how we can qualify for that feeling more often and invite it to last longer in our families. As you know from experience, that is not easy to do. Contention, pride, and sin have to be kept at bay. The pure love of Christ must come into the hearts of those in our family."

Today I made chalupa, a loaf of Rhodes bread, and cookies with milk chocolate chips, semi-sweet chocolate chips, oatmeal and pecans. James said he loves cookies with oatmeal. I guess I should make them more often and next time, although I prefer them, I won't use milk chocolate chips.

It seems like everyday James has some kind of an issue with his computer. Today he could not get on AOL to check his emails. I couldn't get on his account on my phone like I normally do. He had to make a new password and they sent a code to my email in order for him to do. After over an hour we resolved the problem.

The Peeler's were supposed to come over this evening and we were going to discuss this weeks "Come Follow Me" lesson together. About an hour or so before they came Owen called and cancelled. I suppose Donna was tired or just wasn't feeling up to coming.

We watched the new episode of "When Calls the Heart" together this evening. It was good but I do miss Abigail and Cody. Abigail is supposed to be off in the east somewhere caring for her ailing mother and of course Cody went with her.

There was a threat of rain today as James worked outside on the log railing.

Charlie is still sick with an ear infection, according to the doctor.

She is such a doll.

So sad.

I remember him as a kid.
He's the same age as Stacy.
