Feasting Upon the Words of Christ
Elder Takashi Wada
"In conclusion, I bear testimony that feasting upon the words of Christ can happen at any time and on any occasion if we prepare our hearts to receive them. Feasting upon the words of Christ will bring life-sustaining revelation, reaffirm our true identity and worth before God as His child, and lead our friends unto Christ and everlasting life. Let me end by echoing the invitation of Nephi when he said: 'Ye must press forward with a steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope, and a love of God and of all men. Wherefore, if ye shall press forward, feasting upon the word of Christ, and endure to the end, behold, thus saith the Father: Ye shall have eternal life.'"
It's elk bugling season which means James goes out on the porch outside of our bedroom in his underwear and bugles. This morning an elk bugled right back at him and he could tell it was close. He put on his camo's, grabbed my camera, and off he went.
James was gone an hour or so. He said a 6x6 elk was right out in the trees with his herd. When he grabbed the camera to take a picture it wasn't on so he missed his opportunity. He said there were two herds out in the trees with two bull elk.
James says there are two reasons that elk bugle. The first reason is to let their cows know where they are. The second reason they bugle is a warning to other bulls to stay away.
Amazon received my last shipment today. The great thing is that I sold two books from that shipment today!
We heard from Quicken Loans today. They said they could only give us financing for $115,000. James is going to talk to them and see if he can get them to raise that.
I made a trip to Dollar General this afternoon for refreshments.
This evening I worked on books and after doing some research I bought three books.
