Well, I lost the first half of my post and so this is a do-over. 

Allison Perez's surgery went well. She is 9 years old and have to have surgery on her lungs. 

My nephew Monte is in the hospital having surgery tomorrow in Mesa. He has diverticulitis and has not been able to eat or drink for two months now. He has been fed through an I.V. the past couple of months. He is the head football coach at Show Low High School and also the track coach. Harold, my brother, is going to the track meets and coaching for Monte while he is in the hospital. 

Today is tax day and James worked most of the day on taxes. He didn't finish and our accountant filed for an extension.

I worked on getting another shipment of books ready to mail. Of course Amazon divided a shipment that I got all in one box. This takes longer and costs more.  It ended up being two boxes and one envelope. James will take them with him and mail them at the UPS store in Chandler tomorrow. 

I worked on stripping polish from the floor again today. Just a little each day and I should be done by the end of the month. 

I got a call from my neighbor Kathy today. She had baked her famous cinnamon bread and along with an Easter card went to deliver to a sister she ministers to, Joyce. She was so frustrated when she called me and said she did not want to be Joyce's ministering sister anymore. She says Joyce never answers her calls or her knocks when she goes to visit. She sad she heard dogs barking very loudly today and one of the windows was broken out. She said she was animal friendly but not with those kinds of animals. I told her not to worry that we would take care of Joyce and she said, "Good luck."

I wrote to Ben this morning and got an answer in return. Sheri also sent me her email from Ben and that is what I am sharing here.

Gary joined the Marines. He and Greg both worked in my dad's store. David was the quiet, spiritual one.

* What signs of the gathering of Israel do we see today?

- Jesus told the Nephites He would give them "a sign"(3 Ne. 21:1) so they would know when the gathering of Israel had begun. He then foretold the Restoration of the Gospel the coming forth of the Book of Mormon, the establishment of a free nation in America, and the taking of the gospel to their seed (v.1-7). He called the Restoration of the latter days "a great and a marvelous work (v.9) In the early days of the Restoration, the Savior said "a marvelous work is about to come forth" (DC 4:1). President Gordon B. Hinckley spoke of the Restoration and of our responsibility to help move the work forward: "This glorious gospel was ushered in with the appearance of the Father and the Son to the boy Joseph. The dawn of the Dispensation of the Fulness of Times rose upon the world. All of the good, the beautiful, the divine of all previous dispensations was restored in this most remarkable season. Do we really comprehend, do we understand the tremendous significance of that which we have? We of this generation are the end harvest of all that has gone before. It is not enough to simply be know as a member of this Church. A solemn obligation rests upon us. We must live as true followers of Christ, with charity toward all, returning good for evil, teaching by example the ways of the Lord, and accomplishing the vast service He has outlined for us." As I was sitting on the recliner this morning trying to get the umph to get up and get dressed, James brought me a plate of strawberries, blueberries and raspberries with whipped cream. Wow! Talk about service! He also brought me some hot and sour soup per my request and then came and sat by me while he ate his venison steak and eggs. I made him watch Evanna and Keo's rumba from Dancing with the Stars. It was my favorite dance of the night. Evanna is the girl who played Luna Lufgood in the Harry Potter movies and she is a great dancer. I kinda hope she wins but I think the winner will be either Milo, who is a Disney star, or Juan Pablo from Full House. Whatever happens I wish Grocery Store Joe from the Bachelor or Bachelorette would go home. He can't dance people! Why are you voting for him? Kim says its the Bachelor Nation. Well I never liked that show and now I like it even less!

We had a new family arrive today. They bought a house in Vernon and their things are being shipped later. They forgot to bring any bedding so the Relief Society presidency went to work. Between Tamara, Maxine, Kerri, Kathy, and I we came up with bedding, cots, and a baby gate on very short notice. Tamara said the Campbell family is very appreciative. 

I felt a little better today, at least I had more energy. I do feel like there is a heavy weight on my chest, but at least my cough and sore throat are better. I caught up on my blog and worked a little on the book business. James went into town and mailed the book to Amazon that I bought a week or so ago. We will make a little money if Amazon accepts it, which they should. 

While James went into town to mail the book at UPS and do some other errands, I looked for book trades but had no luck. I also learned what a gated book is and how to find out if the book you want to buy is gated, which means you can't buy it. James checked the three books he has bought and none of them are gated. 

Our goal is to put 100 books on Amazon to sell before the end of the month. We better get busy!

We really need to get this business going before James's surgery on December 5th. He will be out of commission for several weeks after that.
